102\. Jim Stutz Asphalt Pavement

I was very disappointed with my experience with Stutz Driveway sealing and repair. I agreed to work with them and told them I needed two weeks to complete some landscape work first. They emailed me on a Saturday (before the two weeks were up) to tell me they were coming the next day (Sunday) and I had to clear my driveway of all cars for a few days. (Really, on a Sunday when I had a party planed at my house?). They said no problem and they would give me another date. So after about a month of not hearing from them, I reached out, asking about the date. They told me they were in my area (town of Greenwich) last month and they did not know when they would be back again. I said that is a little unreasonable and that's when the rude attitude started. They told me "you seem to be in a rush........etc." to which I was a little taken back, to say the least. They expect you to drop everything to accommodate them on a day's notice as they explained that is how they operate their business. It could be weeks to months to start their work, and they think this is fair and reasonable ( because they "cannot predict the weather or how many jobs are going to be scheduled in your area" at any given time). I was not impressed with their response time or attitude. If you check the Better Business Bureau you will see they have a C+ rating, as I am not the only one with these same complaints (rude and it could be weeks to months before they start service after the contract is signed). I would be very careful with your diligence before using Stutz Driveway.

Stutz did a great job. Very efficient and quick. The only comment I would make is that I wish they gave you more than one days notice Hard to do based on weather conditions. Overall, very pleased with the results.

Stutz did a beautiful job once again. They sealed the cracks twice, and then came back and sealed it. I had to reschedule once and they were very accommodating. Communication was great, they came first thing in the morning, and did a very nice job.

Very happy with the timeliness, communication, price and outcome of our driveway. We were so sad that this miserable winter created a bunch of cracks in our 5 year old driveway. Stutz filled the cracks on 2 separate occasions to make sure they were totally filled and then came out to seal the driveway a few days later. Unfortunately, we had an unexpected downpour right after they sealed the driveway so they came back and fixed the parts that didn’t have the opportunity to cure. Quality work! Great price. Our driveway looks great

The crew were neat, fast, and precise! They were in and out of my property before I could blink. Very good quality product at a great price.
