We had Academy Sealers come out to sealcoat and crack-fill our shared driveway. William came out in person, reviewed the condition of the driveway, and gave us a clear written estimate with separate pricing for each section. The team completed the work as scheduled and the driveway looks much better overall. What I appreciated most was their honesty about the condition of an older driveway: they explained that some spider-web cracking may still be visible and that sealing/crack filling is more about managing deterioration than making the driveway brand new. After the job was done, they were also responsive when we had follow-up questions, came back quickly to address the issue, and even left us an extra jug of crack filler at no charge for future touch-ups. Overall, very professional, fair pricing, and good communication. I would recommend Academy Sealers for driveway sealing and maintenance work.

Reasonable price and decent job overall. They come out soon after you call and that is good. However, they go too fast and it shows. Uneven streaks left behind and they left sealant footprints in the road at our house. Yesterday they did the same in front of our neighbor's house. This was after we called and they came back to clean up the sealant prints in the road. Their flyer explains that they will walk through your grass with sealant covered boots...but be prepared for a real mess. It's like they take pride in ruining your lawn and roadway instead of putting something down and walking over it. It's that lack of attention to detail that stands out after you've fully prepped your driveway.

This is my first time using Academy Sealers and my last. 1. After sealing my driveway, they hammered one of their wooden stakes right into the new asphalt leaving a hole in the driveway when I removed the stake two days later. This hole left my driveway seal vulnerable to freezing water expanding and contracting, reducing the life of my driveway seal. Several inches from the driveway was the perfect place to hammer the stake, but they were lazy. The manager saw the photo of the hole in the asphalt and sent the team out (at the company's expense) to reseal my driveway and the second crew DID THE SAME THING! Are you kidding me? 2. The second crew got black asphalt sealer ON MY BRICK! Now I have to research how to get it off. 3. These teams are in such a rush that neither the first or the second crew gave me the courtesy of a chance to remove my car from the garage before they started the job. When I rushed out, the first team had already begun laying driveway seal. I told them I needed my car for the next 24 hours and an annoyed team leader began spreading white powder on the wet asphalt to enable me to get my car out of the garage without damaging it. When they finished the seal, there were white powder streaks left on my driveway which were "baked" into the seal. What a mess. 4. Thankfully before the second re-seal occurred, I moved my car from the garage early the morning because shockingly, the second team came and went, NEVER alerting me they were here. If I hadn't moved my car from the garage early in the morning, the second team would have caused me to be stuck there for over 24 hours since Academy Sealers instructs you that you can't drive over their seal for one day. Unbelievably poor customer service. These crews clearly take no pride in their work, nor do they have any customer service skills whatsoever. It's no wonder Academy Sealers only has 4.3 stars.

We are very happy with the repaving (asphalt) of our driveway done by Academy Paving. The crew arrived on time. They removed a layer of the existing asphalt, which had been patched in several areas. They then leveled the driveway and applied the asphalt. They completed all of this work in just 5 hours. The crew was very courteous and answered all questions. I highly recommend this company for driveway paving.

Received their flyer in my mail based on prior use from previous owner. Thought I’d give them a try. I submitted an online request for resealing our driveway based on the advertised price and Ed B. (Manager) confirmed immediately and honored the advertised price. Very efficient process. Would use them again and recommend them to anyone.
