Best job I’ve ever had. Takes care of their people.

As a Michigan Native and full blown Michigander, theres isnt anything that I like about Ohio. But I promise on everything I love, Ajax Paving Industries Inc. makes me want to go live in Ohio. The management here and MDOT need to go and learn a thing or two about road construction in Ohio. Why is it smart to shut down a full highway to just have your employees standing around and no actual work being done? Why is it smart to have one lane traffic for 2+ miles for months at a time? And why are we letting you guys place orange cones pushing cars into the shoulder to catch debris and ruin tires on the rumble strip? I wish the best for this Michigan base company, but for the down fall of management’s lackluster business decisions.

Whatever person you have running the show on M15 is incompetent...what a mess. They block 15 then oak then have a guy telling people to go to the next road and it brings you right back to him, a big circle. Why the heck would you block 15 and oak at the sametime just stupid. Plus the sign people are ignorant one girl standing there with cars coming from 3 directions just spinning her stop/slow sign around like it's a toy no coordination at all. Have done road construction mysrlf for years and have never seen such a mess. Must be a Democrat company.

First class service every time. The staff is easy going but takes their job seriously. Couldn't ask for a better environment to walk into when going to the plant.

How do I start even!? So here’s my story I was driving around 815:830 at night when I drove into 7/11 in 16 mound…..as I leave I drive into mound road exit I see a car driving into 7/11 as I was close to exiting onto the road….all I see is construction and work being done with paver rocks and dirt so I proceed to exit and BOOM my cars in a ditch without any cement!!!!! This exit was never tapped off nor coned off I couldn’t believe how a company can forget to do there job properly someone could of got hurt bad! I had to wait 1 hour for a tow truck with his response how can they leave this open like that?! Now I have to pay my own deductible for someone else irresponsible duties why?! So my insurance company reached out to them they basically saying “haha” we don’t care” so sad so so sad.
