Allen's Asphalt

Completely a rip off told me it was 2inches of asphalt he was laying and when I got a tape measure and showed him it was an inch he said take in consideration compaction. Done a month ago already breaking apart. And the seal coat is already wearing off I think he sprayed colored water looked good the day he did it but started having issues the next day.

Our church parking lot was a real mess with much of the asphalt missing down to the soil. Allen did a great job, communicated clearly, and the lot still looks great after 7 months.

I called him to ask for a quote, he hung up on me immediately before I even told him what it is I needed, maybe he didn't like my accent.

Contractors unfortunately get a bad name from the ones like Allen's Asphalt. He paved a driveway for me in early 2014 (I was preparing to have my home for sale and decided to have a new asphalt driveway paved for this). Within two weeks of being laid, one section of the driveway had deteriorated and broken apart, and by May another 20' - 30' section had large potholes and settlling was evident everywhere. He was impossible to get in touch with after a very poor paving job. He missed numerous appointments on the front end and used "street" labor as his help instead of trained, skilled laborers. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they too were not successful reaching Allen for some time. He provided ridiculously unprofessional, fabricated and profane replies to the BBB, which is just another reflection of his absence of professionalism and poor ethics. You will likely not be happy with this "service" provider and I would advise looking elsewhere to protect your hard earned money.
