American Asphalt replaced our driveway in July 2025. What a wonderful experience! From start to finish, they were professional, helpful, and friendly. The office personnel were knowledgeable and efficient. Their free bid was competitive, their explanations clear and concise, and all work was done in a timely manner. They assisted with the necessary submission of material for our HOA and worked with our village to schedule needed inspections. The crew of ten was neat, skilled, conscientious, and answered our concerns. We highly recommend this company for your driveway needs.

American Asphalt stripped and replaced our 2600 sq. ft. driveway on 9/6/2024. We are very satisfied with their work and the entire process start to finish. I requested an estimate from them on 8/20/2024. They came out same day and left the estimate hanging on my front door (bonus they didn't even require me to be home for a sales pitch). I emailed them a few questions and they responded promptly. After evaluating all the estimates we received for this project, we signed the contract with American Asphalt on 8/30/2024. We received permit approval on 9/2/2024, and American Asphalt removed our old driveway on 9/4/2024 and paved on 9/6/2024. Pricing was reasonable. They were here when they said they would be here. The owner, sales representative and crew were very professional. Highly recommend.

I have been a real estate agent for over 21 years and I was extremely impressed by this company. Our driveway was in terrible shape and I got a few quotes. American Asphalt was neither the most nor the least expensive. Their employees were extremely friendly and respectful and competent. In two mornings, they transformed our driveway from an eyesore into something beautiful, increasing the value of our home. I cannot recommend them more highly.

I just used American Asphalt to tear out and redo our driveway. I don't write reviews unless I really think businesses are great and let me tell you I was not expecting to rave about a paving company. First off - the email confirmations from them. The level of detail & clarity answered any question I could possibly have had. Love that!! When I had forgotten the instructions - back to the email. Next I loved how conscientious the team was. I know it's a little thing but I loved that they closed my garage door for me after they were done. Everything happened exactly according to the email instructions I received and they were incredible to watch when they came back to pave. There were 9 workers there and every one of them was hustling. They got my driveway completely paved in 1 hour. Lastly the owner (who is part of the team) came to my door to chat. Super nice guy and explained that he only has one crew and he's always on it - so the quality will always be good. If you're in the area and need some asphalt work done - definitely check them out.

I had great experience with with Robert and team replacing my 30 year old driveway. The team was exactly on time and worked with precision. The immediate result is way better than i expected. Edges and seams look great. They used the good peter baker asphalt. No surprises on the final invoice. We've been waiting forever to fix our crumbling driveway. I am so glad we used this team to do it. Highly recommend
