Terrible. They scraped off asphalt and threw it all around the landscapes where they worked. This is a toxic mix of petrochemicals and heavy metals they dumped everywhere in our gardens. They literally did this in a butterfly garden with nesting birds and animals present. The work was sub par. The equipment they used peeled off holes of the new surface. People weren’t properly warned about leaving it for a few days before driving on it. There’s tire marks allover.

This company's excellent they do a great job doing the asphalt and are condominium I highly recommend them they did their job very good when I gave them a five..... I wanted to mention a man's name named Raul he works for American Asphalt he stopped by my garage cuz I'm handicapped took the time to explain to me how the job was going to be and then the next day he came by and wanted to make sure everything was okay and where we happy and I said yes nice man his name is Raul I want to mention his name to the boss so the boss can treat him excellent like I'm sure they do very good man me and Norma my wife we enjoyed talking to him today very hard worker

Be very careful. When driving in this area, the drivers of this company are reckless drivers. They do not check traffic signals when they exit to the left, that is, to the south. They do this in the mornings, even if they see you driving on the right of way, they do not respect it. Perhaps they think that because they are large trucks with their trailers, the street belongs to them and they do not care about the lives of other drivers. That happened to me and also that person honked his horn and he did not care. He had to brake quickly and turn to my right, almost hitting the curb and very calmly continued on his way towards 711. He ran 3 red lights. They are a danger. Speaking with other friends who passed that same street, the same thing has happened to them with those reckless drivers.

On May 11, 2024, at 6:30 AM, this truck was speeding and coming from Westbound Highway 580 to merge onto Southbound Highway 680. It literally cut in front of several cars, including me, just to exit at Stoneridge. Then, the driver couldn't decide which lane to take, almost causing another collision with me. The worst part: the driver, an elderly Hispanic man with a mustache, insulted me by raising his middle finger while appearing distressed, and his passenger laughed. What the hell?! He could have killed someone. Please, if you're in a hurry to get to work, be aware and leave early instead of acting like an idiot driving as if the road belongs to you. AMERICAN ASPHALT did an outstanding job!!! We been doing the asphalt seal every 3-4 years and every time we would have some issues with stenciling, either with parking numbers, fire lines or handicap areas). AMERICAN ASPHALT spend extra time ahead of the project to make sure they document everything before they start the asphalt seal. Steve is very professional, knowledgeable and responsive ( he is an early bird so don't call him late in the afternoon). :) Kudos to Carlos and their entire crew they start and finished the project very clean! Highly Recommended A+
