Josh came out Monday and gave us free estimate which the price was very competitive. We just felt very comfortable with him. They came out the next day and paved our driveway from start to finish. Everything came out perfect top notch.

My family moved into our house a few months ago. We are in the process of tackling some much needed home improvement projects. My husband & I have 2 adult children, so we have 4 cars to park. Our old asphalt driveway was very worn and cracked and needed to be seal coated. We also wanted more space for parking. We called a lot of contractors for estimates, but we really liked Josh from American Paving. He was on time, and got back to us really fast with his estimate. We accepted & scheduled the job for 2 days later! Josh and his crew did a great job extending & sealing the driveway! They hauled away the mess & left the yard looking great! As a plumbing contractor, I often require asphalt repairs following excavation. Unfortunately, my experience with this company was deeply disappointing. Josh performed a patch job that was, at best, mediocre. The work lacked precision, with noticeable gaps at the joints where the old and new asphalt met, leaving an unpolished and unprofessional appearance. What concerned me most was Josh's dismissive attitude toward the quality of his work. He appeared entirely satisfied with mediocrity, insisting that asphalt patches are inherently imperfect. Instead of addressing my concerns about the gaps, he repeatedly defended the work by emphasizing that the patch was level with the existing asphalt. To make matters worse, he even suggested that if I wasn’t satisfied, he’d gladly tear it up so I could hire another company. In hindsight, I wish I had taken him up on that offer. If you’re content with work that’s just “good enough,” this company might suit your needs. However, if you expect clean, precise, and professional results—the standard every tradesperson should uphold—I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
