Antonio Barros - Pavers

My paver driveway needed repair in 4 separate places. I requested him to repair only two areas first to see how good of a job he would do. Six months later I called him when the same problem came back, he refused to come saying that when I need to repair the other areas - then he will come. He said it is too much for him to bring his workers to my house to just to make corrections only. Be very careful. His workers even attempted to remove a wheelbarrow full of pavers that I had stored previously beside my garage for future use. Only two paver bricks were needed from that stock for this repair. (This is basically an attempt to steal) They had no reason to take those. I told them to put them back, which they did.

We had an excellent experience with Antonio Barros Pavers. Antonio and his team did an outstanding job at our house from start to finish. They were profesional, reliable, detailed oriented and delivered high quality work. We are extremely happy with our new pavers and highly recommend Antonio Barros Pavers to anyone looking for beautiful, quality work and exceptional service.

Overall, my experience with this contractor was mixed, and I would recommend them selectively based on the scope of your project. Strengths: The excavation, grading, and paver installation were all completed to a high standard. If your project is limited to pavers, this contractor is a solid choice at a competitive price point, consistent with other quotes I received. Areas of Concern: Unfortunately, the quality of work declined significantly outside of paver installation. The concrete work was particularly disappointing — within just a few weeks of project completion, the surface began to deteriorate noticeably. It appears the concrete was not properly cured, and the finish was substandard. I would strongly caution anyone against hiring this contractor for concrete work. Attention to detail on non-paving elements of the project was also lacking, and general landscaping tasks were not executed with the care I expected. Additionally, communication was a consistent challenge throughout the project. Language barriers made it difficult to clearly convey expectations and address concerns with the lead, Antonio, in a timely manner. Bottom Line: For paver installation specifically, this contractor delivers good results at a fair price. For a more comprehensive project requiring concrete work, detailed landscaping, or clear and consistent communication, I would recommend seeking a more experienced and versatile contractor.

Antonio and his team were amazing! Everything about the process went smoothly and professionally. They were very responsive, on time and worked hard to get the project done. Our new patio and pool deck are beautiful! We will definitely use him for any project in the future!

Antonio and his team were absolutely amazing. The pavers I wanted happened to be in stock when they normally take 8+ weeks to be ordered, and Antonio quickly arranged to reserve them for me so that they could be installed within a week of our first conversation. Once on site, I asked for a revision to the initial scope given there was some overage in materials, and Antonio not only worked to make that revision happen, but did the entire job at a very fair price, and it turned out beautiful. I would recommend Antonio to anyone!
