A subcontractor for Tiger Fuel to bury 100 gallon propane tank and trench gas lines to Generac purchased from beck cohen. Came a day early because it was a small job, did not properly regrade area, so we have large ruts, area where tank is buried is sinking down and also ruts along the trenched area and where the gas lines connect to Generac . Never removed a large mound of dirt that’s been here for over 30 days. Threw straw done but no seed. Tiger fuel and beck cohen cannot get this company to come back out and take care of their crappy job. Do not use this company ! Poor workmanship and communication skills are terrible.

Mike is extremely professional and more than helpful. He went out of his way to help me with what I needed even though the job I need done isn't something that Arrowhead Excavation could proceed to do, Mike went out of his way to give me ideas for solutions and wrote me a letter that I can provide to my homeowners insurance company for documentation. I highly recommend Arrowhead Excavation if you want someone who is dependable, honest, and straightforward.

After looking for a contractor for over a year I really believe I got very fortunate finding Arrowhead Excavation in Canon City. After trying to find a professional excavation company I feel blessed to have finally come across this business. After dealing with different excavation businesses, and never being able to find one that seemed at the top of their game, I found the owner "Mike" online, and decided to give him a call. Within the day he returned my call, came by to talk to me personally and spent at least an hour of his time explaining to me many things about the issue I needed to resolve. I found him both personal, and professional in his knowledge and manner in which he conducted his business. That was on Monday July 31, 2023. After waiting on the permit from the county, he began work on my "water meter relocation". He and his incredible team of men had the job finished on the third day of beginning this difficult project. {Sept. 11, 2023} He and his team were on time, courteous, and respectful of my property, and my job. He gave me an itemized bill before the project began, and it was completely down to the penny of each and every charge issued to me for my water relocation job. In other words, there was no guesswork on the final cost. I can't say enough about how he and his team were easy to work with and respectful. If I were ever in need of an excavator again, I would definitely call Mike.

This business should be recognized, and I would like to share my story. I am new to the area and my neighbor over irrigated their property which in turn flooded my basement. Not knowing who to call, I called many excavation companies to install a French drain system. I heard every excuse you can think of on why they couldn’t do it, they were too busy for me even in my dire situation to get a system installed, they didn’t want to take on this small project, etc. When I called Mike, who was also very busy, but he took the time to come look at the project even though it was a bit of a drive to my home. When he arrived, he was upfront with me on everything needed to get the project done and done right without cutting corners. After talking with him I could tell he was vested in quality not quantity work. He had much bigger jobs going on, but he took the time to help me out. He didn’t pressure or try to sell me his service and even suggested I get other estimates. When I accepted his services, he immediately put my job on his schedule and his team was working my job the following week. I was very impressed by his team of professionals. They were kind and explained everything and asked for my input along the way. I was also surprised how efficient the team was and they were done in no time. I wish I was good with names because they too need to be recognized. After the job was done Mike made a trip back to home to further explain how everything worked and answered all my questions. I can’t stress enough that this company is the best in the business. If you want your job done right, then this is your business. I look forward with working with Arrowhead Excavation on my future projects.

Arrowhead prepared a “break area” along the west side of the VFW POST 4061 building at 215 N. Cottonwood, Canon City.
