Asphalt Beach

When they were offering to turn any pair of shoes into skates, I took in a pair of high tops. They did a horrible job on them and I feel very taken advantage of as a customer for how much I spent on these. They didn’t let me pick out which trucks I wanted, the trucks they put on were way too big and too heavy for the shoes I brought in. I couldn’t skate in them without getting awful shin splints because the equipment was that much too heavy for me. They basically told me tough luck when I called back a week later to request an exchange on what they sold me. I recently disassembled them to see if I could swap out the trucks and I found all of this mismatched and chewed up hardware. After the hundreds they charged me for a crummy install, chewed up hardware, trucks I didn’t even want, and their horrible customer service I will never shop here again. I’m all for supporting small and local businesses, but I just can’t justify supporting these people and I’d feel awful if I said nothing to warn others.

The best customer service and great prices for every budget. They will have what you want, and some cats to pet while you get it. We were looking at more expensive skates but were recommended the cheapest pair, super honest. Huge selection of protective gear as well.

I had such an amazing experience here today! I was immediately greeted and had assistance upon walking in. Had my foot sized, tried out three different beginner skates (and she brought out every color option of each skate I was trying on!), sized for protective gear, had my skates put on and laced up for me, and was educated on the different components of my new skates. This was TOP TIER customer service! Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to purchase new roller skates. Also, they have shop cats who are so cute and cats make any experience better. 🛼✨

I was there last Friday to get my first pair of rollerblades that would fit me. I am incredibly happy with the ones they gave me. They fit so well, feel so comfortable, my problem now is that I don't want to take them off and all I want to do is practice and skate. Very happy that I went there to get my skates. I don't even think I have ever owned a pair of footwear that felt so great. 😀

Excellent customer service, super sweet and patient staff. Really great at working with a budget. I was quite happy with the selection too. We drove 4 hours to get here and it was well worth the trip.
