Asphalt Care of Texas

I am wanting to rent out my home and so I’m heavily renovating around the property. A lot has to be done, but fixing my driveway is one of the things that really needs attention and is on my priority list. I decided to call two local asphalt companies for a quote to support my community; “Asphalt care of Texas” being one of them. I asked if we could set an appointment because I stay really busy at times. We agreed to have the contractor come over at 8am the following day. I was really happy at the thought of getting one step closer to crossing another project from the list. The following morning I was working around the house expecting the contractor to arrive. I was excited to be honest. I must have been in the backyard cleaning up or getting my cup of coffee from inside, but 8am came about and I didn’t see the contractor arrive nor did I get a call from him with an update on his arrival. At 8:10am I called his office- no answer. I was finally able to speak with his secretary at 9am. I was told that the contractor had already been to my property and I missed him. I was taken back to not have seen him outside the property gate and at the fact that I hadn’t even received a call from him either. Later that day the secretary and I spoke again and she told me to expect the quote from the contractor himself later that evening. At this point I was thinking to myself “but he didn’t even walk over the driveway to see the imperfections on the asphalt to better judge the job”. Nevertheless I was just glad to move forward. I gave them the benefit of doubt and concluded that they are the professionals and so I would just trust their judgment. I didn’t receive the quote that evening and I was a little upset, but still understanding to them perhaps being busy all day. I contacted Asphalt Care of Texas Monday morning to hopefully finally get that quote. I was questioned about the legitimacy of the job request and if I actually lived at the the address where I was “claiming”

I can't say enough good about Asphalt Care of Texas! For whatever reason, some of the sealant didn't adhere well to our old parking lot. Without charge, Asphalt Care came back and re-coated AND repainted the parking lot! That kind of customer care and integrity is rare these days!

Doing business with Asphalt Care of Texas has been a most pleasant experience. They were punctual, their equipment was clean and well cared for, they got right to work and did an amazing job of filling cracks and holes in our .6 mile long country driveway. They shared information with us about how to best maintain the driveway. Very polite. Not any crude language or cursing. Two of the men are veterans. We highly recommend them and will use them again should the need arise. They were so pleasant that we hated to say goodbye!

Awesome company to work with! Punctual, they do high quality work, and never once had any issues. Bernie and Loma are the sweetest people and are willing to work around any conflicts in scheduling you may have. Highly recommend

My original review was substantially more harsh, but I have to write a balanced review of this company after Loma, Bernie's wife did everything in her power to take care of a very poorly handled situation by Bernie himself. She went above and beyond to ensure that the job was finished, done right, and done to our expectations. Without a doubt, I would work with Loma again. However, I still cannot recommend the company overall based on the way I was treated by Bernie himself. He did not pay attention while onsite for the first walk-through, rushed the job, and then was clearly not interested in fixing the mistakes that were made. He was rude, disrespectful, and discourteous. I was truly appalled at his lack of professionalism.
