Asphalt Paving By GW LLC

⭐☆☆☆☆ I hired Asphalt Paving by G.W. to pave my driveway in September 2025. Choosing a paving contractor is not a decision I took lightly. I obtained multiple estimates and ultimately chose this company because I believed they would provide the best quality work. At first, the driveway appeared acceptable aside from a few minor imperfections that I chose to overlook because nothing is perfect. However, by January, serious problems began to appear. The upper parking area developed significant heaving, and numerous depressions and sinkholes formed where vehicles were parked. After every rainstorm, these areas fill with large puddles, making the defects impossible to ignore. I also began noticing extensive cracking throughout the driveway. The lime from the crushed concrete base started leaching through the cracks and staining the asphalt white. During a heavy rainstorm, water entered my garage because the driveway was pitched toward my house. The area near the road is in especially poor condition, with cracked edges and large sections that are sinking and deteriorating. One cracked area became so concerning that I dug around it myself and found asphalt that was not even 3/4 inch thick. The driveway was supposed to be installed at 2½ inches and rolled to approximately 2 inches. I contacted Ramsey in February, and he came out in March to inspect the driveway. To my surprise, he did not believe there was much wrong with it and suggested sending a crew to patch a couple of cracks. The issues are far more extensive than a few cracks. I tried to work with the company to find a reasonable solution, but that has not happened. A driveway should not be failing after only a few months. I thought I had chosen the right company, but based on my experience, I was wrong. I cannot recommend Asphalt Paving by G.W.

Was so impressed with the work that George, Bubba, Ramsey and crew did for us. They provided excavating of a hillside, built a retaining wall, dug out our old driveway and removed all the asphalt, rolled, paved and moved a boat port from our lower driveway to the upper driveway, all in 2 days. They were courteous, efficient, obviously very experienced, the whole crew worked together very well and we could not be happier! We felt the price was reasonable and they were meticulous in finishing the edges, rolling and cleaning up the site. My husband Wally and I highly recommend you give them a call!!

Did a great job for us today… Worked with us cause we didn’t have enough to do the whole thing. So hopefully we’ll be having them back in a few months to finish the circle when we can get the snow to melt and all the cars out. Really nice people and did a wonderful job at a great price. Highly recommend them.

Just have Asphalt Paving By GW LLC install a new driveway at my place. Ramsey and his dad George did a great job, as you can see in the pics! I'm surprise by how prompt they are to respond to my request for estimate on their website. Ramsey called me within 10min and it was before their opening time at 8am. They immediate set up a visit time and accommodate the time frame after my work hours. Their price are very reasonable and they are very punctual. Came at 8am and finish the new driveway before noon. They gave me precaution tips to help prevent tire tracks on the new asphalt. New asphalt owners should be aware of it. They do cover up to a year on warranty repairs but as an owner, stay inform and take necessary steps to not wreck your now asphalt driveway until it full harden. Highly recommend them for anyone wants to install a new driveway or repave their existing driveway.

They took extra care with every aspect of the job, including adding loam along the edges for support—Ramsey personally handled this. George oversaw the entire project, ensuring everything was done to the highest standard and wouldn’t leave until we were completely satisfied. They also provided clear care instructions, cleaned up thoroughly, and properly barricaded the driveway at the end of the job. This is a great family-run business that truly takes pride in their work. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-quality paving services. Great job!
