Asphalt Surfacing Co

Working with Travis Haarsma and Asphalt Surfacing Co. was an exceptional experience from start to finish. My first interaction was with Grace, who was pleasant, attentive, and genuinely accommodating. She took the time to fully understand the scope and nuances of our project rather than rushing through the conversation. She assured me she would connect me with the right person — and she absolutely delivered. That person was Travis Haarsma, the company’s president. From our first conversation, Travis conveyed confidence, clarity, and professionalism. He assured me the project would be handled thoroughly and on schedule. What he ultimately delivered exceeded both his promise and my expectations. Travis and his team conducted an accurate assessment of the work required and executed each phase with precision. Their craftsmanship was meticulous. Beyond simply completing the paving work, they thoughtfully suggested workflow improvements that strengthened overall efficiency and protected the long-term integrity of the project. It was clear they weren’t just there to “do the job.” They were invested in doing it right. What truly stood out was their integrity and community-minded approach. Proactively , and entirely outside the scope of work, Travis offered to provide access ramps for residents near the job site at no additional cost. That level of consideration speaks volumes about both his leadership and the company’s values. Throughout the project, communication remained strong. The foreman and crew kept us informed at every stage. Travis himself was consistently accessible by phone and quick with follow-ups. He even visited the site personally to ensure the work aligned precisely with specifications and scope requirements. That level of hands-on oversight from a company president is rare. And to top it all off, the project was completed more than a week ahead of schedule, without sacrificing quality. I give Travis Haarsma and Asphalt Surfacing Co. my highest endo

Travis & the team were easy to work with & provided quality work!

Despite encountering difficult circumstances during our parking lot project, ASCO managed the situation professionally and completed the work within the designated window. A BIG Thank You to Travis and his crew from the whole crew at Dells Electric!

Worked with Travis there and he is a straight shooter. I have used them on several projects and I would definitely work with them again.

My development company has been doing work with ASCO for the past 3 years and we appreciate their partnership. They communicate well, stay on schedule and stay on budget.
