Bartow Paving Co Inc

This company has been working on highway 140 for going on a year now. It seems they do not own a single sign that displays when they have scheduled work as 99% of the pixels are blown. Their traffic plan for paving does not work and is causing 30+ minute delays to go 1 mile.

If I could give no stars I would. The level of incompetence by this company is baffling. Bartow paving has been “improving” an intersection on hwy 140 for almost two years now. Two years to finish a 4 way intersection is either a sign of incompetence or potential fraudulent activity drawing on tax payer funded contracts. For reference the Empire State Building was built in 14 months, the Pentagon in 16 months, and the English Channel tunnel took two years. I would love for someone at this company to clearly articulate how this is somehow harder than digging a tunnel under the ocean. Please Bartow paving be better.

This company is horrible. They have been doing work in and outside my neighborhood for over a year. They are not a safe company and their direction of traffic is neglect and dangerous. I was nearly struck by a large piece of equipment when directed to move forward, my husband was nearly stuck head on when outside our neighborhood was down to one way but there was no directing the traffic for people leaving our subdivision. The electric signs to warn of paving do not work. Shut down our whole neighborhood for paving with giving us NO prior warning. The employees are incompetent and rude. They do a bad job and leave trash behind. The state should stop using them for government work.

The roundabout at County Line Road and Old Stilesboro Road has been a comedy of errors. They have diddled with this project for over a year now. They must have lots of money as they have wasted time and material trying to get this done. They have poured concrete multiple times, tearing out concrete that they just poured. They have laid out dead sod that will never grow. The only positive is that it is almost complete.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Bartow paving today. I was doing some yard works while they were doing their work on the Street, I clearly needed some help. Jesse, the Foreman was just wonderful and helped me for a moment without any hesitation And would not accept any form of appreciation They are considerate as they do a huge job that will last for many months in front of my home. They are respectful and pleasant And try to be accommodating to the homeowners My sons who Live around the corner, but we’re working from home and couldn’t get away. We’re very impressed. Thank you so much Bartoweep on doing a great job.
