Big City Asphalt

Had an amazing experience working with Big City Asphalt. Very professional with great customer service. 10/10 would recommend them to anyone looking to get their job done right the first time.

Update: Adam sent his crew out before cold weather arrived and had them use a filler/sealer to fix the large crack at the edge of our driveway. They also filled all of the smaller cracks that went along the edge of our driveway. We appreciate this greatly. Hopefully this repair fixes the issue. I would not recommend this company! Very poor customer service by Adam in communicating and following through with what we were told. We paid $9500 for a 2” asphalt overlay on our existing circular driveway in August 2022. Within a year, we had a crack along the edge of the driveway and there were surface areas where the asphalt rocks were loose and coming up. It was under warranty. The company came out, filled the crack and sealed the driveway at no charge. Adam told us we should not have any more issues with that area where the crack was filled. Within 3 to 6 months after the crack was sealed another crack started to develop in that same area. By that time it was winter and we decided to keep an eye on it. The crack continued to get longer and wider. Addirional cracks started developing parallel to the edges of our driveway as well. (These are outside of the 1 year warranty.) I contacted Adam on July 8 of 2024 by phone and he asked me to text him the info and that he would call me later that day. By this time, the crack was over 7 foot long and a half inch wide in some areas located about 4 “ to 5” from the edge of the driveway. 15 days later, I had not heard anything from Adam. I had sent several texts with no response. On July 23 I called him and he stated that he would try to get out to look at our driveway the week of August 5 -9. On August 8, I sent him a text stating that I would be leaving a review as I had not heard anything from him. He immediately texted stating he would call me the next day. As I had not heard from him, I called him and he stated that he had tried to call several times. I had no missed calls or messages on my phone. He told me to send pictures

Professional and stayed on schedule. Crew members were respectful and tidy. Excellent work! Beyond satisfied! Here are our before and after shots! We are thrilled!

We had an outstanding experience with Adam and his crew. Communication was excellent: Adam asked the right questions, spotted potential issues before they became problems, and explained the entire asphalt process in a way that was easy to understand. He never pushed unnecessary or expensive options, just honest, knowledgeable recommendations. His prices were fair, the work is flawless (the seams are nearly invisible), and his crew was professional and respectful. They worked around our shifting schedule and made sure the businesses in our plaza experienced as little disruption as possible. He was patient with every curveball, down-to-earth, and went above and beyond — even offering to answer questions from neighboring owners. This was hands down the smoothest experience we’ve ever had with a contractor, and the final product exceeded every expectation. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Brandon and his company, Big City Asphalt for paving driveways. He was quick to come out and quote and got us on his calendar in a timely fashion. The team was very skilled and did an excellent job on our large driveway project. The workers also cleaned up the property before departing.
