Brauntex is my favorite asphalt plant. I use many in the San Antonio area and these folks are easy to deal with can help with even just a 1 ton load.

Devin at Brauntex Materials made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. He was responsive, easy to work with, and quick to build rapport. We had tight deadlines, and Devin handled them with flexibility! What really stood out is Devin’s respectful, inclusive approach in a traditionally male-dominated industry. His professionalism creates an environment where collaboration and mutual respect are the norm, not the exception. Additionally, I felt that he genuinely cares about the success of my projects. Highly recommend Brauntex Materials (and Devin)! .

Had them scheduled for a 6:30 AM pour of 30 yards or three trucks - my pump guy showed up at 5:30 AM and was ready as were the concrete crew. My pump guy warned me there was a wreck on I-35 Near New Braunfels and traffic was getting bad - I contacted my project manager and he communicated to the Brauntex about the traffic issue - that's when they informed him that they hadn't kept any trucks back for our job but had sent all their trucks to a big job at Canyon Lake - after several calls they told my project lead the truck was loaded and on its way - a little after 7AM - after several more calls we learned the driver discarded the info we had given them and was stuck on I-35 - finally arrived at 8:30 AM two hours late. I had applied for early pour permission with my city and also schedule the pour so we could avoid the extreme temps so concrete would have best possible temps to start curing and not dry too quickly. The next truck rather than being there in a timely fashion showed up about 45 min to an hour after the first truck was empty - bottom line we ended up with concrete that started to dry and now have to go back and try to fix issue where it started to separate. Had they been there on time and not two hours then one hour late this wouldn't have been an issue. They will of course come back with same lame reason they didn't provide concrete at the time it was scheduled. If you have another choice I suggest you use that company - avoid Brauntex if possible - that is my suggestion.

Not to bad of a place. Loading asphalt goes by quick. Only 2 lanes one for company drivers and one for customer drivers. Water barrel handy to wet the bed. Must have your CB on channel 25 to advance. Paperwork is send down in a tube.
