Breck's Paving

Overall, good experience. Erich was pleasant to work with, the installation crews were efficient and professional. They certainly knew what they were doing and I feel the job was done right. The only negative is the price did go up once we started work. I guess the concrete was thicker and more than they expected, which it is what it is. Additionally, they uncovered a drain, and it was kind of patched in, at first it was left as a huge dip but they DID come back and fix it to make it not a hazard... which is honestly all I was asking for. Additionally, they did not do the seal strip, which they also came back and fixed, timely. So, that being said, I would not hesitate to recommend them as they clearly are going to stand behind the work they bid. Regardless, I would hire them again. Pricing asphalt is very complicated because it's not all apples to apples. Some companies are doing 1-3 inch base, some are doing 5-6, some 8-12. So to say it was cheap, or expensive doesn't mean much. I felt the price was reasonable. Erich went over all of this with me and we landed on a good combination that will, in my opinion, withstand a long time as this was a commercial project for 12 parking spaces. Will it hold up? Time will tell, but I believe there is a warranty and it is certainly a solid base and solid pavement. They did not shortcut the base or the asphalt. It's thick!

Not impressed. Lots of puddles from low spots. Edges are not straight and gravel is showing here and there. Had to pickup cigarette butts. Not a professional job.

I cannot say enough about Carter and his team. Carter was patient and professional came out several times and to discuss our project. Carter answered all of our questions. We never met Sean/Shaun but he called and followed up to make sure we didn’t have any questions and to give us a day and time for our job completion. Tear out team was prompt, professional and very efficient. The paving team was great too they were here promptly and were very efficient as well. I only wish I had taken a before picture of the driveway. Below are pictures of the finished driveway It looks great and we have more room since we expanded a little. Breck’s was great. They came back with a much lower quote without having much lower quality. They found an invisible fence wire and made sure to check with me to see if they needed to work around it instead of accidentally tearing it out which was very nice since I didn’t even know I had one! I found Breck’s through other google reviews and their reviews are good for a reason! Before, during, and after pictures speak for themselves.
