Burns Dirt Construction

Unorganized to say the least. You have to work three weeks to receive a check even though they supposedly pay weekly. Training is a joke. They have no trainers but throw new hires in with drivers who don't know they have a rider and are very unwelcoming. They call ride along training. Nothing is learned during this time because drivers dont want to stop working to let the new hire drive so you just ride along. A driver said I needed more training because I didn't recognize the difference in rocks when I pulled onto the port. Laughable. I'd learn if I had to pick it up which I never did.

If your windshield has been cracked by a truck that says Palmer Bodies/Burns Dirt. It was them. I’ve had 2 vehicles both windshields have been cracked by their vehicles. This has been within a 2 year span of working in the area. There’s countless others who this has happened to as well. There will be a class action shortly.

Family Owned.👍. Family Run..👍& A Great Family ✌️👍👍👍!!

This company doesn’t take responsibility for their damage done to others. One of their Green Western Star trucks was throwing rocks on Hwy 82 on October 6. We were a long ways behind him (well over 200 feet even though this truck had no sign about staying back) and a HUGE rock hit our windshield causing a major chip - about 4” in diameter. We have to get our windshield replaced. We immediately called Burns Dirt and left a voicemail which wasn’t returned. We kept trying to contact them and they finally answered a week later saying they’d have someone call us back. They never did. We tried reaching them again several times and finally this morning (10 days later) a lady answered again. After putting me on a long hold she came back and told me we’ll just have to talk to our insurance about getting it fixed because they have no way of knowing if one of their trucks caused it or not. While I was talking in response, she hung up on me. There were two adults in our car when it happened and we both clearly saw it was one of their trucks. Not only do they not take responsibility for the damage they caused, they also don’t have their trucks properly labeled with warning signs about possible rocks. In addition to that, they are extremely rude and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend working with this company at all.

Great service! a little pricey but when you need dirt, they they make it happen! Well worth it!!
