Castle Asphalt Construction

We had an agreement with Castle Asphalt to replace our driveway last June, but they kept delaying the project for months. The work was postponed numerous times with various excuses, and the job never started. Eventually, we had to cancel the contract when the season was over in November due to the repeated delays.

Castle Asphalt I do not recommend this company at all. They’ve come out to my property twice already to seal my driveway in the fall of 2025. The first time it looked amazing just like how these other reviews said. Next thing a few weeks later, the cracks started showing up with how I originally had it before they came out. Called to complain, they came out no problem at all and redid it. A month later same thing happened again the cracks reappeared!! I’m thinking, “What is happening with this sealer??” The workers are great, very nice professional but the product they use is absolutely horrible. What’s the point of getting it sealed if it doesn’t stay sealed before even winter comes?? I’ve tried calling. left messages and no one called me back. Unfortunately, they did my whole neighborhood. Not sure if anyone else has reached out to them. Also have done this before in the past from other companies with no issues at all. Castle asphalt’s process is a little bit different with how they seal the driveway. Example would be other companies have this huge heated tank with hoses and the sealer, not them. The only reason I went with Castle Asphalt is because it was a neighborhood deal and I should’ve known better, shame on me.

Amazing company! Great communication. Quick & professional. Staff were very courteous and knowledgeable! Product was brushed on not sprayed which most other companies do. No excessive mess left behind! Will be a using them again next year!

I would highly recommend Castle Asphalt! They did a phenomenal job on our driveway, everyone on the crew was very friendly and respectful, and our son had the time of his life watching the process! We talked a lot with Robbie from start to finish and he was very kind and accommodating. Castle Asphalt gave us the best price of 3 other companies we had reached out to and there was no compromise in quality. We are so thankful for everyone who came out and for their commitment to excellence!

They did an outstanding job! I would highly recommend their services. **if you are googling reviews of them, please disregard those prior to March 2020. We saw many poor reviews about them before that date and decided to ask them why we should trust them now - turns out they’d had several unsatisfactory employees who are no longer working for them. They hired on some new, awesome people and now have a full, great team. We decided to give them a chance and are very pleased with the work they did. In fact, 2-3 other people in our neighborhood ended up hiring them the same day (after our driveway was done) and were also extremely pleased with their work. We have two young kids who were riveted watching all of the construction unfold, so I personally watched all of their work. I would strongly encourage you to give them a chance. We bought our house almost 3 years ago. We have a long driveway with a turnaround pad behind the house to be able to access the garage. It was clear that none of the previous owners had done any regular or proper maintenance on the driveway. It had an extensive network of deep cracks and several sections that had sunken in, rendering the entire thing unsalvageable. We tried to get quotes from several companies. One company proposed a superficial fix; another quietly came, wrote down an estimate and left it in our door. Jim, Castle’s salesman, actually worked with me to schedule a time so that I could go over the driveway with him and discuss options. This was good because we also wanted to lower the curbside entrance, as the curb was so high that any regular sedan would scrape the bottom trying to enter our driveway (my husband has such a car). Jim said it would be no problem. We agreed to the contract (which we were able to do via email, which was nice) and they were able to start work within days of giving the estimate. The tear out crew was prompt and arrived exactly when they said they’d be here. They were very efficient and conscientiou
