We hired Clark to install a stamped walkway to match the concrete patio they had installed the year before. Their proposal specifically stated the new walkway would “use premium colored concrete to match the patio”. "Match" was not just our expectation. It was part of the contract. The finished walkway did not match the existing patio. The patio was brown while the new walkway was gray. We reached out immediately and were told not to worry because staining and sealing would bring the colors together. It still did not match. We were then told the difference was simply "natural variation." Only then, for the first time, were we told the finished product might not match and that natural color variation was possible. The sealing process created an entirely separate set of issues. Surface bubbling throughout, five footprints, multiple large splatters, and even a paint can impression were sealed into the finished surface. We asked Clark to fix the sealer issues, but first wanted to meet with management onsite to walk through the issues and agree on a corrective plan. Despite requesting an onsite meeting with management six separate times, Clark refused the meeting and scheduled corrective work anyway. Clark stated the photos of the bubbling areas were sufficient to determine the corrective action, even after we explained many of our concerns, including the uneven sheen and differences in the feel of the sealed surfaces, could not be evaluated through photos alone. An independent concrete contractor estimated that correcting the sealer issues and attempting to improve the color match would cost nearly as much as the entire walkway. Because of the concrete colors Clark poured, there’s no guarantee the patio and walkway will ever match. To make matters worse, during installation Clark splattered concrete onto our siding, sliding glass door, back door, and windows. They attempted to clean some of it but left without telling us. After several patio quotes we landed on Clark Companies. We provided them with our budget and they created a stained and stamped patio design that came in under our budget. The finished product is beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Provided timelines for the project and completed patio on time. The crew was on time every day and answered any questions we had. They were careful not to destroy our yard and respected our property. Great communication from start to end of project. Friendly and easy to work with. Highly recommend them for any outdoor landscaping projects. We will definitely be using them for future projects.

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is an absolute terrible place to deal with and they go against their word all the time. We had them out to do some concrete work last fall and already it’s falling apart. Our apron has salt destroying it because it wasn’t sealed, the guy who did it took a chunk of concrete out of our garage and said he’d fix it - surprise he didn’t. They completely destroyed our sprinkler system and said they would come out to fix the issues - surprise they didn’t. They destroyed our lawn with their machines - which was expected but they said they would put down seed to fix the lawn - surprise they didn’t. When we brought it all up to them all of a sudden their contract says they are not liable for able damages - so they “promise” all these things even though it was their negligence, but contract says we are liable and then they ghost you. Absolutely terrible service and do not wish their “business” on anyone Update now that we have more info on how much they screwed up our sprinkler system. We had asked them to just pull up our sprinkler heads that were in the way of the new concrete pad, instead they just covered them with concrete. We have had to have our sprinkler company out multiple times to fix Clark companies disasters and negligence. Absolutely a horrid company

My experience with Clark Companies has been one of great happiness! The radiantly positive energy exuded by the staff was marked from the very beginning phone call. There has been solid communication always. I never felt alone or on an island. Even the timeframe in which I anticipated my project to be done, was exceeded beyond my wildest imagination. I believe they firmly understood that we were in a pickle, and although quoted a very safe timeframe, they diligently worked so hard to get things completed for us - spectacularly. The materials used are premium, and there was no shorting in process or build. We couldn’t be more pleased. And there have been a multitude of compliments on the work just the same.
