I am writing on behalf of my 82-year old mother Joyce Trimble. 1 star for showing up and doing the driveway but I’m warning you never hire them. They quoted a price and then after it was done charged her double that $20k. She was in shock. But paid because I wasn’t there to tell her not to. Since I called them they promised to refund part of the money but that’s been a couple months ago and no sign of them. There are weeds growing up through the asphalt. They are sheisters. Turn back and run away!!!!

Every negative review is spot on. Once John Cooley gets your check you will never hear from him again. Don’t let the cheap price and big promises convince you to use Cooley Asphalt. John called me in a panic because he had a job cancel on him and he needed to work. I made it happen for him and allowed him to come work on our road project. He also promised and quoted to repair the pot holes in our neighborhood. Once he left he ignored my calls and texts and has since not come back to do the neighborhood job. He got what he needed and has since offered zero customer service or follow up to his commitments. I hope he makes it right and does what he said he will do.

I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. Not even a month after they finished working on my driveway it started having issues. Its been 3 months now and I have multiple ruts and spots where the asphalt is crumbling. They advertise a 1 year warranty on their contracts. When I made contact with the owner about warranty work he said they would fix it. It's been over a month since the initial phone call and he's now stopped responding to my phone calls and texts. I'm now faced with either paying someone else to fix their shoddy work or filing litigation in an attempt to recoup my loss.

Friendly but not happy with the job they did on my drive. It's uneven, left a mess in front of carport and behind carport. Said they would be back to fix anything but haven't seen them since. Leaves a puddle. It's not smooth going into the carport. It's a bump. I filed a complaint with BBB and there was a man who has the exact same story as what they did to me. Marion W.
