The crew showed up on time went right to work and completed the job timely. Mr. Cooper was personable and explained everything. The whole experience was flawless. Again, the crew arrived on time and completed the job in record time. They even had to deal with a tree stump, but no worries it was up in no time. Our interactions with Gary were professional and efficient. The price was very reasonable. He listened and made a few recommendations which we incorporated which made the project come out perfectly. The crew arrived early, began immediately and was so efficient, courteous and respectful. When done everything was cleaned up the property marked off and they were outta here. I would recommend this company everyday of the week and 2 times on Sunday 🤗🤗. I’m grateful for this wonderful job and company. I will call Gary every time we have an asphalt project and would suggest my friends and family do the same.

I have no experience hiring an asphalt paving company, so there maybe some other good ones out there. That said, I DO HAVE experience with Cooper Paving of Glen Burine MD. And that experience was exceptional from the early bidding to the final product of paving my driveway. During the estimate, Gary Cooper (no, not the actor!) walked me through all the details of the paving project and answered all my questions. He made many recommendations for grading for good runoff, how to protect my sewer line standing pipe, what preparations were required prior to asphalt, and how the asphalt is installed. He would take care contacting of Miss Utility. After measuring up, he provided a detailed itemization of the project with cost before departing. The estimate was clear about each step and about materials and about price. Of three estimates, his was the best with his presentation, guarantees, work-with-you attitude warranting the choice. No down payment; full payment at the satisfactory completion of the project, 2-year guarantee on the surface. Just awesome. After some late questions and insurance review, the contract was signed. Cooper Paving started the next day, bright and early. (Somewhat irregular I thought, but between a couple of large jobs on hold.) In preparing the driveway, they skimmed off the #57 bluestone gravel, leaving a pile for my future needs, dug areas in front of the garage and for driveway extension, added RC-6 gravel and packed it. While prepping the driveway, the crew discovered my Fios fiber optic line and moved it to a more protected location. A cast iron access cover was placed over my sewer line cleanout, something that will definitely protect it from driving over. Gary rightly said preparation is 90% of a quality job. Next came the paving equipment and the team acted like a well synchronized machine. Everyone did multiple tasks in the laying, tamping, rolling, and edging the asphalt, constantly in motion. Cooper Paving did a fantastic job with our driveway! If you are looking for a residential asphalt driveway, be sure to get an estimate from them! Gary was polite, professional, and helpful. He did not try any "salesman" moves and simply offered us the best price he could while taking no shortcuts. He asked for 100% of the payment at the end when a beautiful, durable driveway was in place. He and his team made quick work, completing the job in about three hours! Dawn, the receptionist, was incredibly friendly and helpful. She responded quickly to my questions and helped schedule my appointment just several days out! The whole process was amazing.
