Two different local contractors recommended Cottrell Brothers to me for gutter repair. Both my husband and I tried to call during the summer and only got one call back from the office manager, Kristi. Finally, in mid-Sept, we were able to connect with her and the owner Ross came out and gave us an estimate for gutter work, which we accepted. Trying to schedule the work was impossible, however. I put in probably 10 calls to Kristi's cell phone, the office phone, and even sent an email to the office. Crickets. Finally, two months later, I hired Barry Charbonneau & Son to do the job. Nick Charbonneau came out to do the estimate right away and the job was done professionally within two to three weeks. When the job was finished, I called Kristi's cell phone number again to let her know that I went with another firm, and she said that I must have been calling her old cell phone number. NO. I called the same number I had always called to leave messages, as well as the office phone. Very odd and very unprofessional. Don't waste your time.

I called Cottrell Brothers to set up a time to get an estimate for a small job. Scheduling was done in a timely manner. Ross came out on 10/31 and said that I would have my proposal the latest on Monday. Fast forward, I don't hear anything on Monday nor receive an emailed proposal. By mid week I call and I finally was able to reach the office manager and explained that haven't received my estimate. It's been well over a week approaching two weeks since the initial estimate and I've called left messages to reach out to me and I haven't heard from anyone. When you call this business you never get anyone to pick up the phone it always goes to voice mail "hi you reached Kristi" Communication lacks here. It's pretty sad that a local business has no regard for a potential customer. The job itself maybe small but it means something. I was looking to support a local family business however, perhaps they're too busy for a small guy and the gettin' is good right now. I hope it doesn't slow down where a small job would matter. Unfortunately I'm taking business elsewhere where my business is valued.

Awesome experience, I called the office looking for seamless gutters, knowing absolutely nothing regarding gutters. The pleasant representative on the phone walked me through everything and helped me build my order and provide me with an estimate. The gentleman showed up within the scheduled time, verified everything I needed and began making my gutters. Everything was 10/10, from my first call to the end product. They will be top of mind for anything needed in the future. Thank you!

I am so pleased with Matt’s craftsmanship! He installed our cabinets, tile, shiplap, built-in shelving above the shiplap, and some more jobs around the house. Everything looks phenomenal and we couldn’t be happier.

Installed new aluminum seamless gutters on our 1929 farmhouse, replacing the original failing wooden gutters. Fast response and quote. We were given options with fair prices for different construction materials. When we made our decision and provided the necessary deposit to begin, they responded quickly, completing our job in 3 days in a professional manner, paying attention to demolition/cleanup and finishing the details of the project properly.
