Cross Country Paving was a breeze to work with !! I called Larry on Thursday, came to measure the same day, gave me an estimate the next day and by Monday I had a paved driveway. The work was performed neatly and with care to the existing landscape surrounding driveway. 5 stars !

We hired Larry and his crew to remove our old driveway and to remove rocks we had in a temporary driveway area next to it and replace the rocks with topsoil. Driveway removal and replacement- Pros - Larry is always on site during the work and supervises his crew. The end result looks nice and seems leveled properly, with no large puddles showing after rain. Cons - Communication was lacking. Trying to find out when the work would begin was difficult. When it was finally scheduled to remove the old driveway, it was on a day forecast with rain. Sure enough it poured while the removal was occurring and made a large mess. The crew had to come back the next day to complete the removal. I know you can’t always rely on forecasts but this was a day with pretty good certainty. Anyway, then the driveway had to dry out before the new one could be installed. Totally understand that, but after many sunny days and it being clearly dried, we heard nothing. We finally had to call and ask what about tomorrow and Larry agreed. Just poor communication. We were told to mention if we saw any problems afterward and saw minor issues which we reported. But once the job was complete, we seemed to fall low on the priority. We’d be told he was coming and would be here waiting only to have a no show, more than once. Again, communication could certainly be better. Biggest problem we had was the removal of the red rocks and replacement with topsoil. It turns out the “topsoil” that was delivered was very poor quality. It was loaded with rocks, broken glass, broken tiles, plastic garbage, metal bolts with washers. It looked like it was picked up at a dump. The same kind of material that went under the new driveway. We tried to grow grass and couldn’t because it got so hot and we weren’t able to keep it properly watered. We understood that we’d needed to wait for the fall and try again. But, the”topsoil” became as hard as cement. You could not put a shovel into it at all without hitting rocks. We

Cross country paving did a great job on our driveway. They were easy to work with, meticulous, and professional. Having had experiences with contractors that did not care, it was refreshing to have someone that did. I highly recommend them

Great local company, very detail oriented, clean work, and great communication. We could not be happier with how the double wide driveway and paver border came out. We will definitely be using them for future projects.

Went with Cross Country to repave our driveway in the Hidden Lake development. Three estimates, CC’s pricing was the best with good references. First day, peel up and haul away the old asphalt, regrade and add stone as needed, compact for final subgrade. Returned a week later and installed/rolled 3” compacted top coat. Great job all-the-way-around. Larry was very easy to deal with, did what he said he’d do when he said he’d do it, answered questions completely and honestly, and the driveway is perfect.
