Cutting Edge Pavers

Cutting Edge Pavers put in an old style brick walkway to our front door and they did a fabulous job. From Project Manager Rob to the lead worker Marvin, everyone was easy to work with and the final product just what we wanted. A few months later we had to ask Cutting Edge Pavers to come back and do some follow-up work. They were just as helpful as the first time, professional and did a great job yet again.

We purchased a new home about six months ago with a relatively small backyard and started getting flooded with ads from landscaping companies. We knew we wanted pavers in the back and side yards, a connection to the driveway, a small patch of synthetic turf, and some clean rock borders. After talking with several companies, we ultimately chose Cutting Edge Pavers and we’re really glad we did. From the beginning, they stood out with their professionalism, strong reviews, thoughtful suggestions, and willingness to actually listen. The entire design process felt transparent and collaborative. Their estimator/designer came out, measured everything, and about a week later returned with a full design on a laptop. We were able to tweak materials and dimensions in real time, and the pricing updated instantly—no games, no surprises. They even reviewed our HOA requirements to make sure everything would be compliant, which was a huge plus. When it came time to start the project, the crew and foreman showed up on time and walked through the design with me. I asked if they had any recommendations, and the foreman suggested a couple adjustments—especially around grading near the AC unit—which I’m very glad we implemented. The crew was outstanding. They worked hard, efficiently, and you could tell immediately they knew exactly what they were doing. The level of experience and professionalism was obvious from day one. The project took about two weeks, and throughout that time the foreman stayed in constant communication—checking in regularly and even texting updates so I always knew where things stood. I can’t overstate the quality of their work. The attention to detail is incredible—clean miters on every corner, proper grading and leveling throughout, and even precise footing placement for a pergola I had planned. These guys are perfectionists, and it absolutely shows in the finished product. On top of that, I had purchased a Costco pergola, and they connected me with a loca

If you are interested in adding a new feature to your back yard, I would like to recommend Pavers and especially working with Cutting Edge Pavers. From meeting with their designer Julie to working with the project manager Tex and the hard work the installation crew put, I was totally impressed from start to finish. Julie came to our house and listened to what we wanted and designed a plan we loved. The work started shortly and in just a few days we had the finished product and love it. I give them 5 Stars. Rob

Absolutely love our new backyard!! Jerry was awesome and created a beautiful design. Marvin and his crew did great work. Tex, the owner answered all of our questions and assured us the backyard would be completed exactly how we wanted. Highly recommend!

We did an exhaustive search (6 quotes) to find the right company to take our backyard (modest size) that we essentially hadn’t used in several years and turn it into our dream paradise. Our first encounter was with Jerry Cook, Cutting Edge’s design consultant. He came in with a design (see pics) and cost that we couldn’t resist. He also stayed with us for the full week of work that was required. We finalized the contract with Tex Mabalon, the owner, who came by most days and was only a text away. The work crew led by Marvin was hard working, skilled and detail oriented. If there were issues along the way, and there were few, Tex and team were responsive and quick to address them. Just a note on what we had done: 1. Reconstructed our back porch and walkway to backyard 2. An area for a pergola 3. An area for a hot tub 4. An area for a fire pit 5. A walkway connecting them all Not only did we absolutely love the end result, but we feel like we got our full money’s worth. We cannot say enough good things about the entire Cutting Edge Pavers & Outdoors Living. In short they were fantastic and we recommend them highly and with NO reservations.
