D & H Asphalt Company

D & H Asphalt delivered one of the best contractor experiences my family and I have ever had. From the very first phone call to the final cleanup, every single person we dealt with was professional, knowledgeable, hardworking, and genuinely cared about doing the job right. First off, Gail in the main office was absolutely wonderful every time I called. She was always kind, patient, organized, and incredibly pleasant to speak with. In an industry where communication can sometimes be difficult, Gail made the entire scheduling and coordination process smooth and stress-free. Matt and Don, the owners, were equally impressive. They took the time to answer every question I had thoroughly and honestly, and you could immediately tell they have decades of experience and truly stand behind their work. They never made us feel rushed or pressured and were incredibly informative throughout the entire process, which gave us a tremendous amount of confidence moving forward with the project. When it came time for the work itself, Jacob, the project supervisor, was outstanding. He was respectful, professional, and genuinely kind throughout the entire job. Before work even began, he did a complete “once over” of the entire project area, walked us through the plan, and made sure everything met our expectations. That attention to detail and customer care really stood out to us. And I have to specifically mention Jeremy, one of the asphalt workers, who was an absolute class act. Not only was he hardworking and professional, but he left the entire jobsite spotless when the work was completed. That level of pride in workmanship and respect for a customer’s property is rare these days and deserves recognition. The finished product looks phenomenal, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish. D & H Asphalt is the definition of a company that still believes in hard work, honesty, communication, and quality craftsmanship. I would recommend them to absolutely

D&H Asphalt did total replacement on our driveway. From start to finish Don, Matt and their crew did an excellent job and were very professional. They did exactly what they quoted with no hidden surprises. I would defiantly recommend D&H Asphalt as they are a very honest and reliable company. With that I give them five stars.

So glad I chose D&H to replace our 25-year-old driveway. The communication was excellent, they were punctual, and the excavation expertise corrected so many spots that I was amazed. I did not realize how many mistakes the original installer made 25 years ago. Got to know the crew a little and they had all been with the company for years, some decades. All were friendly and the company has depth that becomes obvious when the project is discussed in detail. They don’t rush the discussions and answer all questions and provide professional suggestions when they see something. They were not my cheapest bid and I chose them for the knowledge they displayed, their history of work in the subdivision, and the reviews I read. The care they took at the seam details and runoff excavation work performed with levels and stringing of the entire driveway on both sides was impressive. The water runoff Ive observed in the recent heavy rains is perfect. You get the ‘real deal’ with D&H!

D&H shows no respect for any of the neighbors of which the job their performing. They've parked illegally on a private lane, blocking the easement for residents and fire access on multiple occasions despite requesting and warning multiple times. I can only imagine how bad a job they do just based on their disregard for others. Do not hire.

D&H got us on the schedule right away and at the date that we needed, and finished all phases very quickly. The workers were friendly and professional getting the job done and answered all of the questions that I had. Our new driveway looks amazing!
