DBS Sealcoating & Asphalt Maintenance LLC

I’m Shannon a property manager and I’m extremely disappointed with the work DBS Sealcoating & Asphalt Maintenance completed at Hartford Mills Apartments. For the amount this apartment complex paid to have the parking lots paved and sealcoated, the expectations were absolutely not met. The paving is uneven, the edges are rough and unprofessional, the actual asphalt they put down is extremely thin and the transitions into the existing pavement are sloppy instead of clean and seamless. The catch basin area was left looking unfinished, we had a some rain and its clearly not draining properly after their patch job near the catch basin. The sealcoating has already started washing away in spots in less than a week. Overall, the parking lots honestly look worse than it did before the crew started. I expected quality workmanship and attention to detail, but this project appears rushed and poorly executed. I don’t think anyone should hire them for paving, pothole replacement do your research unlike me. Based on what I’ve seen, I would not recommend DBS Asphalt, worst decision hands down. It was a complete waste of money. The pictures speak volume. This is how “they fix your parking lot”

Hugh Docherty of DBS Asphalt Maintenance came out promptly and gave us a quote for our very large horseshoe driveway. We signed the quote on the spot. He is very reasonable. Communication throughout was spot on. He always kept us informed. His workers came on time and got to work promptly. They were hardworking and courteous and performed all work required. They edged and blew off the driveway and filled all major cracks before hand brushing the sealant. Driveway looks amazing. We highly recommend DBS Asphalt. You won’t be disappointed.

I highly recommend DBS Sealcoating! The entire experience from the initial contact, to quoting, and the sealcoating was top notch. Don’t hesitate to hire them!

I recently had some asphalt work done and just needed a few areas patched up for now, not a full driveway replacement. This was honestly the only guy who actually listened to what I wanted instead of trying to sell me on a huge, expensive job. He came in, cut everything out properly, used a torch, and did a clean cold patch on three spots. The work came out way better than I expected for a temporary fix. Everything looks solid and well done. On top of that, the price was very fair, and he got it done quickly without any hassle. No upselling, no pressure just straight to the point and did exactly what he said he would do. Really appreciate the honesty and the quality of work. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone looking for asphalt repair.

DBS Asphalt Maintenance came to do my driveway today, did a beautiful job. Hugh very reasonable, good communication, friendly and on site supervisor. His workers very efficient and attentive to every detail. Highly recommend them, very professional. Thank you Hugh and workers for working in the heat wave.
