Derby City Paving is a family-owned business that was recommended to us based on their previous work and reputation. Their performance was commendable from the get-go. Tyler responded promptly to my initial call/request, and we quickly got together to discuss what we wanted, walk out the project, and take measurements. He provided an estimate on the spot. Through follow up texts, emails, phone calls and visits, we gained confidence in Derby City as a quality-first company, locally owned and and the approach to do a quality job. We believe Derbv City was our best choice for getting a top quality job for a fair price. Lucky us, when we agreed to go forward the Derby City team was available within 1-1/2 days, and got started promptly. Initial prep was thorough, although finalization was delayed by torrential rains over several days. The decision was made by Derby City to wait until things dried out and we could have a firm, confident base. This was consistent with the quality-first approach. The job was very large for a driveway, with a lot of curves, turns, and handwork required by the team. Nonetheless, once the day came to lay asphalt, a base structural layer and a top finish layer were both completed in one day. The attention to detail was noted by all on the team. It's clear they have worked with each other for a while and work well together. Thanks to the whole team, you did a great job. The previous 700+ ft gravel driveway headaches are now a thing of the past.

Fantastic experience. We took four quotes to have the Elk Creek Baptist Church parking lot resurfaced. Derby City was not the cheapest, but overall provided the best quote to bring our parking lot back to a new condition that we can leave to the next generation. This project required repairing multiple large cracks in the pavement, resurfacing, striping, removing and resetting the tire stops. Very professional, on time, lots of well-maintained equipment, plenty of workers, a well oiled machine. The years of experience were evident. They were constantly checking to make sure everything was done to perfection. This is a company you can trust and know that they will produce great results.

Derby City Paving did a great job on our parking lot at Mt Washington Animal Clinic in Mt Washington, KY. The whole process was smooth and easy. They showed up on time, worked efficiently, and got everything done the right way. The lot looks great, and you can tell it’s built to last. They were super easy to work with. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone needing commercial paving.

Derby city did a wonderful job on our driveway. They went above and beyond with cutting out what needed to be removed and replaced, instead of just laying on top. Owners are super friendly and knowledgeable as well. Highly recommend.
