Diamond Pavers

I’ve hired Jose and his very nice crew twice and have been very happy with their work both times. He’s very responsive to questions and issues that inevitably arise.

Jose and his team do excellent work and are a pleasure to work with. They’re exceptionally communicative, do precision work, and are affordable — truly the best of all worlds. I can’t recommend Diamond Pavers highly enough.

Jose is the best. Consistent communication throughout the planning and execution of the project. Gave me a great price. Built a 50 foot long retaining wall in a week and a half. The wall curves naturally and is beautiful. Team was prompt, professional, courteous, and communicative.

Jose is the owner of Diamond Pavers and I have worked with hime for over a decade on properties in Mill Valley, Tiburon and Belvedere. The projects range from installing turf, pavers, retaining walls, stair cases, drainage systems and more. Jose is a man of his word and he and his team (they have been together for over a decade) take pride in their work and it shows. Diamond Pavers built retaining walls for me in Mill Valley and Tiburon where the lots were very steep. Jose guided me through how retaining walls need to be built to endure on a hillside and how they need to be constructed (with drains and drainage) so that water will not be an issue. The products Diamond Pavers uses are of the highest quality and the professional design makes me want to spend any evening it does not rain outside. Jose and team really design and execute DreamScapes (I made this up but it's true). I have worked with Diamond Pavers on 5 projects and look forward to working with them again. The team is honest, hard working and they deliver on time and on budget.

Jose & his team completely transformed our backyard with a full renovation. It was a 5 week job and Jose was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the project. In fact, I can't even imagine another contractor even coming close to his quality of work and attention to detail. We brought Jose plans from a landscape architect and he made some on-site recommendations to improve them, and he kept us informed during the entire time. Each day he would send a text update with what work was accomplished and what was scheduled for the next day. His team cleaned up each day and they clearly enjoy working with one another, and for Jose. His attention to detail and pride in his work is what sets Jose and Diamond Pavers apart from other contractors. He didn't rest until the job was done till not only our satisfaction, but his own very high standard. We had Jose install about 500 sq ft of pavers, artificial turf, build two redwood planter boxes, trellises, install drainage and irrigation, and install a full bluetooth-controlled lighting package. He excavated down about 10" and brought in the correct base layers. He thought of small details we (nor the plans) could foresee and asked for our input throughout. We made several changes along the way and Jose was easily accommodating of them. When we had small minor issues come up after the project was complete (such as irrigation drips, lighting adjustments, etc.) Jose was promptly here with a smile on his face. Our family cannot speak more highly of Jose and he is my first recommendation when friends and family ask. We get so many compliments on our new yard and it has been transformed into a space my family uses everyday. We would absolutely without hesitation work with him for future landscaping projects. I interviewed four paver contractors and am very attentive to detail myself. I'm am so glad I hired Jose! (before and after photos included for reference)
