And get this: one of the guys even picked up loose asphalt pebbles from the edges and stomped them into minor gaps with his feet!! Neil and his crew did a fantastic job on our driveway. The asphalt was old and needed a complete renovation. We also had an old retaining wall that needed torn out and the driveway was widened by several feet. Additionally, a few feet of old crushed rock needed to be removed and replaced with asphalt. It was a fairly complex project to say the least. I had five companies submit bids for the project. Durable Paving was the most reasonable bid, but I was also impressed with Neil’s experience and confidence on taking on this project. The crew was at my house just a few days after signing on. Neil took time to work with me throughout the project to get what I wanted, making adjustments along the way. His crew is amazing to watch. They are mostly family members who have been working together for a long time and everyone worked together as a team. The driveway turned out great and was exactly what I wanted. The thickness of the asphalt and rock base exceeded what they guaranteed. I highly recommend this local team for asphalt work.
