Excel Paving Co

In Santa Monica at the intersection of Olympic and Lincoln blvd. They are paving the road but instead of directing traffic and finishing up the project. These guys are just standing around joking and not doing any work. I wish there was more supervision. It is a highly transited area and I wish they would considered that.

Tore the road up 3 weeks ago, yup right before the rain. Now 4 blocks of the street is a dirt..excuse me, mud hole. Unprofessional, unreliable and the city inspector said they where supposed to start in December but Excel couldn't get their permits or paperwork in order. This is a 2 bit company, not professional at all. Don't hire someone who has CSLB complaints.

Excel has been contracted by the city of Anaheim for street improvement project on State College Blvd and Orangewood. This project was supposed to be completed in Summer 2023. They are STILL working on the same damn streets. I have seen them redo the same parts of the streets over and over. Their asphalt repaving jobs are sloppy, not smooth and are like Mickey Mouse bandaid repairs. It seems like my taxpayer dollars are going towards their change orders. I would NOT recommend their work because it looks like they don't care about the quality of their work since they end up redo-ing almost all of their work. It is obvious that they are milking the city's money.

Excel Paving needed to rent our lot for 6 months while they had a job on Cesar Chavez in East LA. They repaved a portion of our lot when they vacated without having to ask. They left the lot better then it was given to them. Completely surprised and speaks to the culture of this company.

Do Not Use!! Because they Don’t Want your Business. Googled on Tuesday 6-19-2018 and found Excel Paving Co. went on their website and under services found “Performed paving projects as small as $1000 to over $30 million” Perfect. Called to get a quote for my rental property driveway. Spoke with someone (didn’t get a name) he googled earth my rental property address and estimated that the driveway was approximately 10,000 sq. Feet. I agreed and we discussed the work to be done. He said he would email me an estimate the next day (Wednesday) Today 6-22-2018 called because I hadn’t received my estimated bid. Since I didn’t have a name I spoke with someone else who told me they don’t do residential or rental properties. Only jobs that have architecture plans. So I said your website and the person I spoke to are just one Big Lie then. And he agreed with me. So I thanked him for wasting my time. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS BECAUSE THEY DON’T WANT IT!!
