Freije Paving

Great group to work with. They did an excellent job on resurfacing my driveway. I highly recommend this company!

5 stars. Freije Paving did an outstanding job on our driveway. From start to finish, communication was fantastic primarily with Faith who made the entire process smooth and easy. The crew was timely, professional, and took pride in their work. They showed up when they said they would, worked efficiently, and the finished driveway looks amazing. Highly recommend Freije Paving to anyone looking for quality work and great customer service.

DO NOT USE!! I would give negative stars if I could. Completely unprofessional and dodgy. They destroyed part of my sidewalk and refuse to fix it. My sidewalk had absolutely no damage before they began work. They sent someone out to "repair" it and the work was shoddy and incomplete. First they dodged my phone calls for months, then the concrete guy called denying any responsibility. I made the mistake of not reading these reviews before hiring them. My last conversation with Faith resulted in her telling me they won't fix it and then hanging up. It was literally damaged the day the job was done and the blacktop is even filling in the cracks and holes so it's obvious that's when the damage occurred. Now I see others have had similar experiences. I'm going to pursue legal action, but I am warning everyone to stay away from this unprofessional and unresponsive company. Update re response: I'm baffled by the owner response. The repair work was incomplete and only addressed a small part of the issue. The pictures below are AFTER the "repair." I would be embarrassed to have this level of work associated with my company. As for communication: we had to literally call them day and night to get any response. We even had to show up in person because they would not respond. We were not kept in the loop and were put off multiple times. And they absolutely did hang up on us! That was the last correspondence we had with this company.

Cannot recommend this company's enough!! They couldn't have done anything better!! Worked through some typical spring rain delays, but they kept good communication and didn't forget about me. I ended up adding 500sq ft over the original estimate between the tear out process and paving. They did well to accommodate that. The result speaks for itself, and they have gained a lifetime customer. All of that at the best price I was quoted!

My old driveway was over 35 years old. It had severe cracks and was breaking up. Chuck Freije personally showed up to discuss the project. He explained that my idea of grinding and topping would not work. "I can remove the whole thing and replace it for the same cost." He suggested that I put a stamped concrete border around the new drive way. It turned out beautiful. He has the equipment and manpower and expertise to do the job right. I had a competitive bid which was slightly cheaper but that company did not instill any confidence about their expertise or interest in my job. Chuck Freije was on sight three times to carefully measure the job before any work started. I so appreciated the care and interest taken by the owner in my job. I would recommend this company without reservation, and I am a tough critic. Like so many others, I did have to call twice. Th extra call got me a great new driveway.
