Ghilotti Construction Company

I understand road construction is necessary, but Ghilotti Construction's handling of this project has shown very little consideration for the residents who have to live next to it. For the past several weeks, construction vehicles and equipment have been parked in front of my home, effectively turning a residential street into a staging area. The noise has been excessive and disruptive. Crews routinely arrive between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM to begin night operations and return between 2:00 AM and 4:00 AM. The constant slamming of truck doors, backup alarms, engines idling, equipment movement, and loud conversations have repeatedly disturbed our sleep. Because my home sits uphill from the roadway, the noise is amplified throughout the property. Equally concerning is the apparent disregard for public safety. Construction vehicles have repeatedly blocked one lane of a two-lane road during peak morning commute hours, creating traffic backups and several near-collision situations. Residents should not have to navigate hazardous traffic conditions simply because proper traffic control measures were not implemented. What has been most disappointing is the lack of communication and consideration shown to the neighborhood. Residents received no notice that their street would effectively become a parking lot and staging area for construction operations. The ongoing disturbances also raise serious questions about compliance with local residential noise and construction-hour regulations. A company performing public works projects should be held to a higher standard of professionalism and community responsibility. Unfortunately, my experience with Ghilotti Construction has been one of unnecessary noise, inconvenience, safety concerns, and a lack of respect for the residents directly impacted by their work. These people are probably good at building roads but they are very toxic to the pedestrians that have to use the sidewalks here in Vallejo ca fairgrounds dr they do not post adequate signs when there working it’s very dangerous for pedestrians.My experience today 2/06/2026 as I was using the crosswalk by the underpass near marine world and the country club crest there were workers from ghilotti parked half on the side walk and street with thick tree on one side and no room and cars on the other side.I had to go on the side with the tree and doing so scuffed my clothes proper precautions needs to be taken

What absolute jerk these people are asked them very nicely not to park directly across from my driveway. They threw a fit and then tried to man. Explain to me why they were parking there. They’re not even working anywhere near my home, but this is an easier spot for somebody who doesn’t know how to back up a trailer to park one I offered to move it so that it could be. Another location, he laughed and told me that women can’t drive trucks are parked trailers A bunch of jerks

I’m not sure if anyone ever answers the phone here, but I am writing to express extreme frustration. There has been an underground project continuing for a month or two longer than originally scheduled on Mission Blvd and Quigg Drive. There are metal plates covering large holes that are not placed quietly. Whenver any small or large car drives over the metal plates they bounce up and down. It sounds like bombs are going off all night as we’re trying to sleep. It’s insanely inconsiderate. If you read these reviews, have your team fix it! I’m reaching a boiling point in delirium. The City of Santa Rosa is next.

Most unprofessional and unreliable company I’ve experienced. (I didn’t hire them) They are supposed to be paving my street. Weeks and weeks asking us to find somewhere else to park (hundreds of tenants) And they don’t even show up for the scheduled project. Towing cars, and inconveniencing everyone! Ghilatti, please get it together and be more professional and organized please!
