Harold Popp, Chief MA Home Inspector

We had an excellent experience with David!! He was incredibly thorough, professional, and patient throughout the entire inspection. He took the time to explain everything he found, answered all of our questions, and made sure we understood both the major concerns and the routine maintenance items. As first-time home buyers, his knowledge and honesty gave us confidence in making informed decisions. We truly appreciated his attention to detail and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and knowledgeable home inspector.

I hired David to do a home inspection AFTER closing on a house & moving in because I had concerns about the quality of the original inspection I received from a different company. Because of this, my house was inspected twice, giving me a direct comparison between David and the original company. David’s inspection was unequivocally more thorough, more thoughtful, longer, used more advanced technology (like a drone for the roof and laser thermometer), and found things that the inspector from the original company did not find. I would highly recommend David to anyone buying a house, or anyone who has already purchased one and would like a second opinion like I did. David did more than just point out issues that required repair, he also gave recommendations on improvements, modernizations, etc.

Dave is fantastic. He is knowledgeable, professional, and very responsible. I’ve used him to inspect two properties, and his insights have been invaluable. Knowing exactly what issues to expect and what I’m buying has made me feel much more confident and comfortable throughout the transaction process. I highly recommend him.

I recently hired David from Massachusetts Home Inspections for an inspection at a 2023 home I am buying, and I could not be more satisfied with his work. He was incredibly thorough, professional, and detail-oriented. His 17-page report documented every finding with specific image references, making it easy to understand exactly what needed attention. His follow-up communication was prompt and professional. As a first-time homebuyer, having David in my corner gave me tremendous confidence and peace of mind. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and experienced home inspector.

David is great- very experienced and notices all the details! We hired him to inspect a home we are trying to purchase. He showed up to our appointment early to fly a drone over the house and inspect the outside. When we arrived he pointed everything out to us. Inside, he was very detailed, digging his hands into the insulation and ceilings to see if there were signs of mice. He gave us great advice and was honest about his findings and recommendations.
