Holdaway Construction, Inc.

I recently hired Holdaway Construction, Inc. for a major remodel project, and I’m incredibly impressed with the results. From start to finish, the team was professional, communicative, and truly dedicated to quality craftsmanship. They took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and provided clear, detailed explanations throughout the project. Scheduling was flexible, and the crew showed up on time every day with a great work ethic and attention to detail. They kept the work area clean and organized, which made the whole process so much easier and stress-free. The finished work exceeded my expectations — the level of precision and care shows real pride in their craft. It’s clear this company values integrity and customer satisfaction. I would highly recommend Holdaway Construction to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality construction or remodeling services. I’m absolutely thrilled with my project and would definitely hire them again!

Hold-Away Construction did an excellent job replacing our windows. The whole process was easy and stress-free, from the initial consultation to the final installation. Julia was fantastic to work with—very professional, responsive, and made sure everything was done correctly. The crew was on time, clean, and efficient, and the new windows look great and have already made a noticeable difference. I’m very happy with the results and would definitely recommend Hold-Away Construction, especially with Julia on the team.

I had a great experience with Hold-Away Construction during my bathroom remodel. The quality of the work was excellent, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. A special shoutout to Julia—she was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful throughout the project. She communicated clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure every detail was done right. The bathroom turned out better than I expected, and you can tell they really care about their craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. I highly recommend Hold-Away Construction, especially if you get the chance to work with Julia.

I'm so happy with my decision to go with Holdaway Construction, it was initially a bit stressful not knowing who to hire and how things would go. Thankfully, their work was thorough and of great quality. I have seen some projects with shoddy craftsmanship and that was one of my fears, but all the work they did was impeccable. They were also very mindful of protecting my floors and surfaces. And I've already been asked by three people who was my contractor. Thank you so much! And thank you to Julia who was so impressive, hardworking and an angel to communicate with. 🙏🙌

Hard pass on Hold-Far-Away Construction! Overpriced, over promised but under delivered on the longest standing mayor's home in San Juan Bautista historic town. Seriously shoty work (see pictures). My wife and found Holdfaraway pricing was over inflated, which to some may be considered criminal praying on older folks. Three serious issues: 1) Didn't put the correct for joist to hold second room and didn't secure both side with bolts. 2) The new roof leaked 3) Stucco didn't match existing stucco :( We won't let them back on our property unless they send professional so buyer beware. One star but because I had to post at least one.
