Very unprofessional I’ve been trying to get a hold of them for weeks and they constantly hang up on me Lady who picks up extremely rude I would look elsewhere. They haven’t even done any work for me. I can’t even talk to anyone for more than 10 seconds and they just hang up on me. Middle of the conversation. They must be extremely busy if they don’t need to work

I had an unsatisfactory, near-threatening experience with a Roy Houck Construction road crew Monday afternoon, 8/11/25. I stopped for a flagger at the intersection at which I would normally turn right to reach my home. She asked, “Where are you going?”. I told her I needed to turn right to go home. ‘You can’t go that way!” she said. “I live down there. How am I going to get home?” I asked. “I don’t know when they’ll be done,” she answered. Flippant tone. (No mention of a pilot car. No signs. Nothing.) “Maybe you can go around somehow.” “How far down has the paving been done?” I asked. (The flagger stop was several yards from the corner so I couldn’t see the extent of the road work.) “All the way down,” she said. Snippy now. Condescending. “Well, then all the alternate routes are probably blocked, too” I said, “my truck doesn’t fly. Why can’t I drive down the unpaved northbound side?” (I could see the mouth of the intersection and – at that time – only the southbound side had been worked on. The northbound side was still a loosely-packed gravel bed.) “I’ll write you a ticket!” she said. Aggressive now. In the meantime, a small blue car behind me was trapped between my rear bumper and the car behind it. The driver was motioning that they wanted to pull out and continue straight. I pulled ahead exactly 31 inches. (I measured the distance this morning on my way to work.) She immediately barked into her communication device. “He’s going to go down the street!!!!” Rather dramatic since I’d already come to a stop and the blue car was now moving around me and was being motioned through the intersection. Next, a little golf cart drove up. Two men in reflector vests. They parked in the entrance of a service road, and a young Hispanic man approached my truck. No name tags or branded outerwear. I had no idea who they were, what firm they worked for, etc. I imagine they were all contracted, outsourced temp workers. All bad signs of a substandard firm with no concern about standa

This company has crews that Does things that are not very smart. The company does not want to take responsibility for the ignorance instead they try to make your life even harder after they already messed up. 3 guys decided to move vehicles without knocking on doors or leaving a note or even trying to find out who the owner was. The cars that they moved were broken on. However, the weary's cars were part were within the 20 foot easement. However, two of them had been parked here for quite some time and the third one was actively being worked on and had Only been for a short time the engine jacked up on jacks because the The motor routes were removed In order to safely take the head off without cracking it. B When it was pushed by these guys in gear because they couldn't get inside of it. And on the jacks, they just pushed it off. The jacks and company doesn't want to take responsibility or even talk about taking responsibility for it. There's no way it could be that I asked for something because they never even called me back after reaching out to them several times. When I did finally speak to somebody. He called the city instead called me back..

I don't know who thought it was good idea to do construction on heavy traffic roads at 8 and 9 in the morning as well at 5 o'clock in the evening... When most people are getting off work. Salem/Keizer traffic is horrendous as it is during these times... But this company decided to impede in the flow of traffic during the busiest times of the day. I'm assuming the job would be completed months earlier as well if most of the staff didn't have their hands in their pockets. Trust me, I've been watching them for what feels like forever.

Jaegen came out and did an estimate for our project which was 9000+ sq ft. The rate was very competitive and of the three bids we decided to go with them. This first crew got here at 7:30 and started grading everything out and the second crew got here a couple hours later. They completed the project and were done by 3:00. They did a great job at cleaning up any areas that needed it. Everyone was very professional and were extremely happy with the paving they did. I would definitely recommend them for your project.
