Huyser Asphalt Paving & Sealcoating

I'm giving 5 Stars based on the work that was completed. They tore out, hauled away, and replaced roughly 900 sq ft of asphalt at the end of our driveway. It looks good, it drains water properly, and it was all done in a day. I could have received a little better communication as far as when exactly they were going to show up to do the work. And also how long to stay off the surface once it was finished. No regrets. We're happy!

Did a good job on our oddly situated driveway. Good value and communication.

The work was scheduled for Friday, yet the crew showed up at 9:30pm on Thursday. A commercial sized truck, over half a dozen people shouting to each other because the truck itself is so loud, metal equipment scraping on the pavement, all just 20-30 feet from people's bedroom windows. Several neighbors went out to confront them, the crew did not care.

I would not recommend Huyser Ashpalt. They provided poor quality of work, were unresponsive, and unprofessional. I had a quote and work done by Huyser back in summer 2017. The work they did was of very poor quality. My husband sent an email with pictures of the problem areas, including uneven surface, cracks, etc. We sent emails and did not hear back and had to send follow up emails and phone calls. Then in December 2017 they randomly showed up and attempted to fix our driveway without our consent or any heads up. The patch they did was awful and did not look good. They offered to come back out in the spring and reseal our driveway. I wanted to just be done with this company. I had sent emails, phone calls, and voicemails to Jason Huyser, the owner, and never once heard back from him. Finally we got an email for a bill for 50% in 2018 which is what I requested. I will admit we did not pay this, I thought my husband paid this, my husband thought I paid this. We never heard anything from them as follow up not a phone call or anything. Then January 2021 we get a letter saying we are being sent to small claims court and they also want $700 in finance charges which is just shy of how much the remaining balance is. In the paperwork it shows they have a bill from 10.2020, we never got a bill in the mail. We have since moved but our mail is being forwarded. Once again never a call from them. I am paying the remainder of my bill and the $70 small claims court fee Huyser had to pay to initiate small claims court to avoid going to small claims court and to be done with them. If they would have just called me I would have paid this bill back in 2018. I would not recommend working with this company. Very disappointed in this business, they are unprofessional, have poor business practices. I am truly blown away with how horrible our experience has been.

These guys did a good job. Very fair and upfront, professional. Price was what I'd expect, it's not a deal but you get what you pay for, it was a fair market price. They always let me know when they were going to be here and were very easy to work with, anything I had issue with they fixed. After trying to get quotes from 6 different places and only getting two quotes back these guys were very punctual and professional compared to everyone else I delt with . Driveway looks great. I would also note the only bad reviews on google are from people who didn't even hire huyser , and were just whining about noise and construction.
