JJ Enterprises

We called JJ Enterprises for an estimate on some concrete work on our front porch and steps. We met with Greg and he was able to offer some recommendations for the scope of work. Greg then referred our job out to an independent sub contractor. A few days later we met with Lee, the independent sub contractor. Greg had not shared any of the details of our job with him, so we reviewed with Lee what we were looking to do. Lee gave us a reasonable price quote, and said he would monitor the weather and give me a call the following week to get the job scheduled. We never heard another word from Lee. Since we didn’t have Lee’s contact information, we continued to reach out to Greg regarding Lee’s lack of follow through. Greg told us he would forward our messages. But again, nothing. What a poor way to operate a company. Apparently our job wasn’t large enough $$$ for JJ Enterprises, which was the reason for the referral to Lee to begin with. In the end, we wasted at least a month trying to get this job scheduled, only to be ghosted by the sub-contractor. Rich and Susan Selover

Terrible. Gaps, holes, and “spurs” left. ZERO craftsmanship. When asked to fix the giant hole and gaps, they came and put gravel in the hole, sand in one of the many gaps, said “all fixed” and that was the last I heard. Edit: Now it is winter and the concrete raised 1.5 inches due to poor installation.

We contacted JJ Enterprises for a "rush" concrete pour job when our prior concrete service backed out. We already had the concrete removed and needed a new patio poured around our pool and backyard patio. JJ came over and assessed the job and he and Linda came back with a quote within 24 hours. Not only did they come with great recommendations for how we should add some unique elements to our project (like the gray-washed stamped concrete), but also made sure to grade the concrete so it would keep the water away from the foundation of the house!! We can also tell just how much pride and thoughtfulness JJ puts into his work as the concrete seams match throughout the patios, giving everything a very polished look. They were extremely communicative, letting us know their plans every step along the way, and they did an absolutely amazing job. I can 100% recommend them for your concrete patio needs!!

JJ Enterprises installed/poured a new patio of approximately 900 square feet in our back yard. I am quite pleased with the project and their timely execution of it. JJ was mid-price on the estimates we received, were timely in all of our contacts and provided a very nice looking finished product. The project required removing the old patio and prepping for the new one. Their crew was was careful to do minimal damage to our yard with their heavy equipment and they did a nice job of cleaning up when they were finished. All in all I am not hesitant in any way to recommend them for a project.

I have worked with so many contractors over the years and many have failed to measure up to my standards. I became a Do-It-Yourself guy, though did not do certain specialities like concrete and stucco to mention a few. Today for the first time ever, I am boosting about Jimmy Johnson (a real farm boy), DBA as JJ Enterprises, whom specializes in concrete projects. I first saw his ad in the local Now Newpaper, then saw him down the street by accident working on replacing a driveway and garage foundation. I did not realize until later that he was one of the contractors I called for an estimate. I was looking for an extra parking space next to my driveway - I call a side-saddle, so we did not always have to move one car to get to another. I spent some time watching his crew work another neighbor’s project. I especially enjoyed watching him and the crew work so well together, using a special sign-language of communicating. Jimmy’s crew was a true art of managing the need to just get things done and not waste time. His work ethic reminded me of the men in my family and another worker from Mexico whom could anticipate my next need. Jimmy and his crew managed to fit me in, while finishing the neighbor’s driveway on 64th street. Jimmy was a wild man with an exactness to everything he did, whether driving one machine or another. I assure you, you will not go wrong working with this company.
