I'm moving in a month, and the township said I needed to get 3 squares on my sidewalk repaired in order to approve the sale of my current home. JR Paving was there the next day and went above and beyond to get the job done, including getting an expedited permit and removing more than a foot of snow and ice. They were professional, always available by phone, and did great work.

JR paving did my driveway last week. They did an excellent job. All the workers were very curious and very professional. I would give them a five star review thank you.

Rarely leave these reviews, but information I wish I had prior to choosing someone. Have a long driveway , and the gentleman on the phone represented himself as very experienced. Crew that came to pave maybe not so experienced ? The grade of the paving near the garages was sloped down towards the garage. Not really noticeable until we got rain, and suddenly there’s all this water in the garage as a result. I assume prior to putting the blacktop on, they just didn’t go down far enough ?.. I called the company.. who then said they had told my wife this was going to happen during the process and that we may need a drain in front of the garage. Not sure how this was framed, but it certainly wasn’t , “you will get water in your garage”..But regardless since we were just replacing blacktop not sure why we would need something special now. When I said that the owner (JR?) suggested I must have always been getting water in the garage. That was annoying — the only problem we had before was an old blacktop that needed to be replaced. The conversation wasn’t pleasant as a result of the accusation but they offered to put a drain in to fix the problem, but I’d have to pay for it. I said fine. That was a mistake… The drain is now clogged and it’s like we don’t have a drain there. So back to square one. Pictures of drain attached. The mud in garage is what’s left after water finally drains
