I am referring to holes cracks on the city streets. I called 3 times since May 1st 2026 and get a run around. I even called administration and all they did was transfer me back to public works and nothing. Today is June 3rd 2026.

I get it that being a garbage man isn’t the best job but if you’re working that job do a good job at it. They came by to get the trash, took the little plastic pool out of the can put it in the truck and didn’t empty out the rest of the can. Doing a partial job isn’t good business considering the amount of money we have to pay for the services in this crappy town.

It’s honestly not surprising that Junction City Water has such a low rating (1.4), because the customer service matches it perfectly. I’ve never been this annoyed on a phone call before. I reached out because I was still getting charged after moving out, and instead of being helpful, I could literally hear the attitude coming through the phone. Since I had already moved, my address wasn’t even accessible on their website anymore, so I had no way to manage or cancel anything online. When I explained that, they just kept saying it was “my fault for not calling to cancel.” So I asked if that information is listed anywhere on the website… and they said no. Then how is anyone supposed to know? At the very least, that kind of policy should be clearly disclosed, or better yet, just have a simple cancellation option online like most companies do. On top of that, there was zero effort on their end to reach out, even after months of no water usage. No follow-up, no check-in, just continued charges. If there were other options in Junction City, I’d recommend going elsewhere without hesitation, but unfortunately, there aren’t.

I am in the Army Reserve and on orders. I also work for the school district. I have my water bill set to auto pay on the 15th of the month. I just was informed my water is being turned off since I am late on my payment. Plus my bill is $100.00 higher then usual. I am on orders an out of the state down at the border right now. Am I protected by the Soldier and Sailors act some how? Or does anybody know about a policy change? I try to get information from the department and am told basically oh well can't help you much. I sent in and extention request but this is ridiculous. I have paid this way for over 15 years. What is going on hear?

Get the distinct impression that they do not care how the public preserves them. Zero effort put into providing quality customer service. My water meter started pumping out water on Sunday night and flooded my yard. Tried to report it on Monday morning, but it being a holiday they were of course closed. On the website it said to reach out to JCDP when they're closed, but the phone number they provided is invalid/not in service. About halfway through the day the water stopped pumping out of the water meter. Called again on Tuesday morning, explained what was happening and that the water stopped pumping out halfway through the day. The person I was talking to then interrupted me (and I absolutely hate being interrupted when talking) and just said "thank you" and hung up. Didn't even let me say that my water was still off, provided no feedback, didn't even confirm if/when anyone would come out to look at it. I've now been w/o water for over 48 hours.
