Kuhl's Contracting

Sometimes, you just need an expert! I do a lot of my own home repair/reno but I was completely baffled when it came to replacing some old-timey soffit vent. I contacted Kuhl via their website and Megan promptly reached out to me to set up an on-site visit. Tavo came out to take a look. He knew exactly what this soffit vent was and exactly how to repair it. A few weeks later, he came back and quickly made it right. What separates Kuhl, and Tavo, from the rest? Besides doing great work, Tavo came to my house with all the needed materials, he took away all the debris, and he is just a nice guy.

Tavo came out to replace a fallen piece of roof trim. Not only did he fix it, but he tightened up the nearby trim to make sure it stayed put. And he was a super nice guy. 5/5 would recommend and would definitely call him back if I need any handy work.

We had storm damage on a gutter downspout and squirrel damage on the wood ceiling of our back porch. Tavo from Kuhl was just here and knocked both jobs out in no time! Great guy and does a quality job! Thanks Tavo!

Up-date March 2021 Another great job by the Kuhl Team! Shortly after having my roof restored last Spring we had an August hail storm. My insurance Company sent their adjuster to assess the damage and submitted an estimate, but also encouraged me to have my contractor submit their own estimate. Kuhl's Team prepared a very specific and detailed estimate, and working closely with the Company resulted in about a 25% increase in the settlement. Materials delivered Monday and the crew worked from 7 to 7 Tuesday and Wednesday finishing noon Thursday. Ben was supervisor for the project and was terrific. The Crew was fun to have around and worked perfectly together as a team; 4 teams of 2, and the 9th took care of logistics. It never occurred to me that putting on a new roof would reach a high quotient of satisfaction...but this is different; it is a work of Art. 2020 We are the sixth home on our block to have our Cedar shake roof renewed by Kuh'sl over the past few years, and they all look great. Ben and Greg do excellent work and are very personable. Brook handles the scheduling and does a great job considering delays caused by weather or jobs that just take longer than anticipated. Last fall Ben also replaced our roof heating cable (extension cord quality previously installed by a well known home services company) with commercial grade cable which worked perfectly. Kuhl's has a waiting list, so best to get in the que, but you will have the best.

I contracted Kuhl's to remove a chimney from my older, St. Paul home. Gustavo (Tavo) performed the work, and I am incredibly pleased with his workmanship and professionalism, and the result of the job. I feel that the demolition was performed with the absolute minimum disruption to the surrounding finish of my house, he took great care with the plastic barriers to keep the interior of my house clean, and removed the chimney in a timely manner. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of the work. Super friendly guy.
