Lake James Paving & Grading

Hired them to put in a brand new driveway. They graded, put down ABC base and rolled new asphalt. After 1 year, it started cracking and little pebbles sloughing off and falling out. Eventually large chunks of asphalt cracked, separated and popped out. Contacted them repeatedly to come out to look at it and finally, after many calls, they did stop by. They looked at it and promised to repair it but they never did. Eventually it got so bad, the entire driveway had to be torn out after only 3 years :( Other paving contractors looked at it and told us the reason the asphalt failed was because it was already too cold when it was rolled and there was improper preparation. What a waste of money!

Slow in getting back in touch. Promised two dates, not kept, no return call after third try. Finally got work completed but not satisfied. They were told about water running downhill making a river in my yard. They made excuse they were out of asphalt and work remains incomplete. They were paid $2600 for work that was shoddy at best and still refuse to complete. I would not hire them again and recommend others not to.
