I’ve never hired LHC before, however they did do all of the city road work in front of my house last summer…added curbs, repaved the road, etc. It appears to me that they don’t take their contacted job with the city (or tax payer money) seriously. The employees dumped their trash from their lunches and empty water bottles in our yard…in a hole that has our new water system installed. They also left a TON of broken up concrete chunks in my front yard that I got to spend this weekend cleaning up. Not to mention they put grass seed down after the first snow of the season (and did not spread it) and now it’s not growing. Just beware if you don’t want a bunch of trash buried in your front yard...maybe consider working with someone else.

I had my Flathead Lake property (down by Dayton) driveway tuned up and then paved by LHC. They gave me a very clear, solid bid, lower than the only other I got, and were timely. They did a great job of both preparation and paving. The prep-work was substantial, even when it looked pretty good to me, I could easily see the improvement. They had great communication, and gave me more in about every way. I got a good 3", and 4" where needed. The crew had a lot of experience, were conscientious (I had some tricky areas around rocks and the stairs, shop, etc.), were fast but efficient. I don't like to write a review unless they impressed me, and they did. Thanks everyone there, I appreciated the work done and those I met, every one of them. I will try to get a picture next year to share.

I ordered 3/4 inch crushed rock and in the end I received three 3/4 inch pit run that had a lot of dirt in it. Also, I ended up paying the person that was spreading the gravel an extra $285 due to the fact that there was only one truck delivering until I complained to someone above the person I was working with. So the very last two loads there was an extra truck! A little too late. If the person that I had talked to in the beginning about only having one truck delivering would have been more accommodating, I would use them again. She had a bad attitude. I do appreciate the last person that I worked with but the job was almost done. I was under the impression that this company was a big company and would have more than one truck. When I first talked to the person prior to ordering, that is what I was intimated. 🤔🤒
