Liberty Asphalt

I definitely would not recommend Liberty Asphslt if Walter Girton comes to sale you a new asphalt driveway. This man is a bad person taking on jobs and do half ass work. Asphalt is not quality,he tells you its 3 in layer & his crew & him are sloppy & fo not clean up the area afterwards, no edging or leveling. I have weeds coming thru the asphalt he layed or total tearout now breaking up/ deteriorating you can see tge gravel base within asphaly after 6 months. He does not stand by any warranty. Only option is taking him to court. He is a nasty man after you pay. My driveway is terrible & I am out of 4k. Do not believe any good reviews; check out FB & see sll the complaints.

1044 sq ft asphalt new driveway installed. Original quoted on repair by removal in bad area than total resurface it. Requested Walt, Owner who wanted to start project to send me job invoice 1st. He gave me a reasonable price as senior citizen $4500. Than ask to start that same day saying his crew need work & they are open. His crew of around 6 came and machines. They were tresspassing in my neighbor front yard using her tree for shade and sat along tree pavers. The guy began tearing out the entire driveway with that machine from approximately 10:30am-7:45pm. Than Owner knocks on door to say his truck broke down with asphalt on it & it could take up to a week to get it down & apologized. After 1 hr he called me & said they can finish laying asphalt with may about 1 hour until dark & I aak if they would continue tomorrow but they came back putting down asphalt in dark. Park a roller machine on my patio block entrance breaking pavers & edgers. I wonder why his hurry or eagerness wss after looking at job next morning. Walt " owner" finish up 3ft manually rolling it down it look like poor quality asphalt, unlevel & not 3in thick as he specified. I let it be known I was not happy with his work, it was sloppy and left gravel tar asphalt pieces in yards, broke my pavers and basement window cover had holes as did my neighbor. Greasy Fingerprints on my vinyl siding. I have pic & videos & will go take this to court after payng over 4k for this. I gave him opportunity to rectify or reimbuse but Walt decline to follow up. He came to look after 1 week & than ran a little water & seen water flowing toward garage where it should be flowing downhill toward street. I ran waterhosefor 1 hour doing while Cleaning in my yard area they left behind. I saw standing water in area & I can feel unleveled area ehen I drive on it & walk down it to street. I paid him rather than enter into argument. after they finish last 3ft. he mention 1 yr warranty after I pointed out the oil dirt & gr

Had paving work conducted by Liberty Asphalt. They did a terrific job at an amazing price. Everything was done right, on time, and no corners were cut. Would highly recommend.
