Driveway was sealed while we were away for a few days. Job was done on a Saturday, we returned on Monday. When we returned the driveway looked great. A note was left at the door not to walk on the driveway for 24 hrs. We not only not walk on the driveway but we also did not park on the drive way for an additional 1 1/2 days. When we started to use the driveway again there were tire tracks in the driveway which is understandable but there was also footprints where upon exiting the car or house. These do not seem to disappear after any rain storms. These imprints are there to stay. We notifiying Magic Seal via customer service person, Kylie about the concerns we had on the footsteps. I was requested to send pictures of the prints on the driveway. Kylie returned our call and stated" the owner said the sealing of the drive was done correctly and the prints were made due to walking on the driveway before be dry." I again reiterated that the time frame given for proper drying was followed beyond the timeframes left in their instructions. I was told that there would be no solution given for my concerns. This was rather upsetting in not only have we had service done in previous years but never had such a issue in prior times. The coldness of the response and the "it's your problem not ours" demenor was very discouraging. Going forward this vendor will not be asked back for any future services.

TL;DR - Called twice for driveway corner repairs and full seal, never contacted by the estimator. 6/19 - First phone call. Rep was kind and helpful, explained I needed a small repair and seal. She said the estimator would call me. 7/17 - Called again. Rep was kind but explained there was nothing in the system about an estimate. Said she would update and the estimator would call me. 7/24 - No call. Decided to move on. If someone from the company wants to follow up, feel free to reply here. Thanks.

The crew did a great job. They were very careful not to make a mess. My driveway now looks great. I will have them do it again next time, and I will recommend they to others. Thank you Magic Seal!

It was a reseal from last year, wasn’t satisfied with the product and how it faded away. You did keep to your word and resealed it this year for free. Thanks. We stayed off it for three days while we were away. After the first park my son’s tire track pulled up the seal on his tire. Not sure what’s going on with the product but not sure if I would your company again. Thanks.

Contrary to what their name implies, Magic Seal does more than just seal driveways. Much, much more. Several neighbors on our cul-de-sac had their houses built at about the same time – approximately three years ago. So it was time to have our “binder base” driveways topped off with “good” asphalt to finish them. We solicited quotes from a number of paving companies and Magic Seal offered the best price, including a neighborhood discount. The Magic Seal paving crew showed up in force, with nine people, several trucks, all sorts of paving equipment and hand operated machinery. They prepped the base driveway by cleaning back the grass along the edges and chiseled out some excess old asphalt where the driveway met the street curb. Once the prep work was done, the fresh asphalt was applied with hand tools and large paving machinery. The crew members worked very well together, they are obviously well trained and experienced, and performed with efficiency and great attention to detail. Once the fresh asphalt was down the crew went to work with hand compaction tools and a large rolling machine. They kept the work area and the street clean as they progressed through each step of the process and left the area in better shape than before they arrived. Their website indicates that they do a wide range of projects, both residential and commercial. I’ve used them in the past for simple driveway sealing and for repair of an existing driveway at my previous house. This is the first time I’ve used them for a full driveway top coat. Based on my experience I highly recommend Magic Seal for any paving or sealing project.
