I’m not certain whether this review applies to the same paving crew. If it does not, please disregard it. However, if it does, I feel compelled to address a concern. The paving work completed on Ingalls Street and Pine Street in Anson appears to be well done, and I appreciate the quality of the finished roadway. Unfortunately, the conduct of some crew members toward surrounding private property was disappointing. My husband recently invested significant time, effort, and money restoring portions of our lawn with fresh loam, grass seed, and hay after previous damage. Despite this being clearly visible, members of the paving crew parked equipment and vehicles directly on the newly prepared areas. After my husband politely requested that they move, the request was initially ignored. It was not until I personally spoke with them that the vehicles were relocated. Additionally, cigarette butts were left scattered throughout our property at the end of the workday. While the road itself looks great, respect for residents’ property is just as important as the quality of the work being performed. I would encourage better attention to professionalism, communication, and cleanup practices on future projects.

We’ve had several driveways paved but this one by Maine-Ly Paving was by far the best value. For a very reasonable price, they went further than their competitors by digging down several feet, and backfilling with crushed rock before adding gravel, and ultimately asphalt. They also had to cut through a sidewalk and they did a good job repointing the curb. The driveway is thick and I expect it to last a very long time. We did have some issues around our stairs and porch area. These specific areas were not dug down enough and as a result a step and parts of our lattice were buried. Unfortunately now that it’s done, it cannot be undone without a lot of further damage to the driveway, so we will have to live with it. My advice would be to ensure you are paying attention to the level of dirt around structural elements like this before they start paving and then watch them pave to ensure the finished product will be as you want it.

My experience was working with Jamie and his crew was a very good experience I myself have been in this line of work 30 years in what I see was a company that takes great pride and respect to their customers that they serve and do exceptionally great work I would recommend Mainely Paving services LLC do anyone👍👍

We were going to wait another year on the driveway....ecstatic we didn't. Jamie's communication alone exceeded expectations and Maine-ly Paving under-promises and over-delivers - a rare thing these days! The staff was prompt and courteous. The driveway will outlive the house. You could launch a space shuttle in front of my garage, which mates perfectly with a pristine seam between concrete and asphalt. The hardly negligible slope correctly navigates sprayed water against the garage away from the house and toward the culvert. There is no discernible flex or edge crumbling whatsoever. If I paid 50% more, I would have been happy, which is why I figured I should at least share my experience. I am a certified appraiser. The Quality Grade and Condition are Excellent. Maine-ly Paving may be lesser known than some others, though not for long. If you need paving work, you will not be disappointed.

John and his crew were amazing! Timely, friendly and respectful . And the driveway looks AMAZING! it was a wreck before he tore it up and made it gorgeous! Extremely professional as well. If I could give 10 stars, I would!!!
