Great company to work with called Luke out he came same day gave me quote on the spot very knowledgeable and very fair with pricing 5 stars all day highly recommend!

Update: Mason finally came out October 2025) and fixed the giant birdbath in our driveway that they promised wouldn't be there when we paid them $16k to do our driveway last year. We appreciate that they came out and did the repair and I wanted to be able to change my review from 1 to 4 stars, but I can only give one extra start for coming out and doing the repair. The reason is that my husband told Mr. Mason that he did not want an obvious "patch" in the driveway. Luke assured him that they would make it all uniform...they didn't...and we now have an obvious giant "patch" in the asphalt driveway, right in front of our house that we are not happy with. Now we are stuck with this look until we can afford to pay a different company to come put a uniform layer over the entire driveway. My husband contracted with Mason because they gave us the cheapest quote. This is a perfect example of "you get what you pay for". By the time we pay to have someone else come make our "new" driveway actually look new, we will probably end up spending as much or more than the most expensive quote we got. 😕 As a result of all this, I still cannot recommend this company. Original post: My husband contracted with Mason in August of 2024 to resurface our asphalt driveway. It was a rather large job with several areas where the old asphalt have broken away and created depressions which they assured him would be filled and leveled out. When they were done it looked good and we paid them in cash. However a week later it rained and we found out that the low areas had not been filled in and leveled out sufficiently, still creating low areas in the asphalt for the rain to collect. The largest of the slow areas being about 8 ft in diameter! We literally have a giant bird bath (or small skating rink now that it's winter time) in the middle of our driveway! My husband reached out to them repeatedly over the past few months.....(see update).

Extremely Disappointed – Beware of Mason Asphalt Restoration This review is long overdue as we were genuinely hopeful the situation could be resolved privately. We don’t take leaving negative reviews lightly. We believe in giving people the opportunity to make things right without airing grievances publicly and gave every opportunity to make things right, but after broken promises, and significant financial loss, we feel it’s important to warn others. We hired Luke Mason (Mason Asphalt Restoration) in June 2022 to install a $25,170 asphalt parking lot addition for our medical office. Luke presented himself as overly friendly, trustworthy, even referencing his Christian faith. Unfortunately, what followed was a series of problems, poor workmanship, and a financial nightmare. When the asphalt was initially installed, Luke told us not to park on it for 2 weeks to allow it to cure. After that period, we began allowing patients to park. However, just before the 2-week mark, we noticed the asphalt forming wavy humps, and soon after, it started sinking and eroding. The first car to park, a small car—left a deep rut with more ruts forming with additional vehicles over the weeks, we had to close off the area due to liability claim. We contacted Luke immediately. Since new customers are priority, We had to wait several weeks, when he finally showed up, he didn’t know why other than to blame the asphalt supplier for a “bad batch.” He promised to “take care of it.” Months passed, and when he did return, he cut out strips/patches and filled them with uncompacted stone and asphalt. The repairs failed. Multiple callbacks only led to more patches—each one worse than the last. Frustrated, we consulted two other asphalt professionals. We also paid for an asphalt core sample. The findings confirmed our suspicions: the work was far below standard. Rather than removing sod and laying 5-6 inches of properly compacted limestone (standard practice), Luke had only scraped the surface. The

My next door neighbor had her sewer replaced, unfortunately it ran under my 30+ year asphalt driveway. Luke and his employees came out, had to fix what the other company did wrong, and then put the asphalt down, plus did the rest of my whole driveway. It looks awesome and I’m definitely recommending them to others. They were very polite, explained everything that they were doing and why, which I really appreciated. The quote was very reasonable also but more importantly I have my driveway back. Thank You Mason Asphalt for all you did to correct things for me to have a safe driveway.

I waited late into the fall to start getting quotes for a new asphalt driveway to replace a gravel one. Most companies I spoke to were only writing quotes for next spring. Mr. Mason came out and gave me a very reasonable quote and was able to complete the work within two weeks or so. The new driveway looks amazing and everyone from their company was very polite, courteous, respectful, and professional! Great work guys!
