McKenna Bros Paving Co Inc

I drive around Anchorage and the Mat-Su for work and if I have a bad encounter with a dump/semi-truck they are overwhelmingly McKenna branded vehicles. I have a dash cam, and I could cut together a compilation of insane driving from these people. Running red lights, unsafely merging into high-speed traffic, unsecured loads, and not using turn signals. It's like they all took a challenge to be unprofessional and drive as dangerously as possible for no apparent reason other than to shave off a few seconds of commute time. Considering how pervasive and systemic this problem appears to be these issues must come from the top. I'd be livid if an employee of mine drove like that with a branded company vehicle. It isn't even isolated to their heavy equipment, their normal pickup trucks are also aggressive drivers. It speaks of an overall lack of professionalism, and I wouldn't be surprised if that lack of professionalism spills over into the actual work they do once they get from point a to b. With the many bad reviews they have it seems my suspicions are correct.

McKenna Brothers Paving did a great job on my driveway beyond my expectations. It started with the initial estimate, demo and final install. Everyone is professional, communicated well, explained the overall process, and executed the work like they were doing the job for their family. Thank you Eddie, Elijah, Ben, and the rest of the crews.

I stayed last night at the Trophy Lodge in Delta Junction. I called the hotel that I will be a late arrival. I got out of my car and had one of your supervisors, drove to me, in a white truck and accuse me of looking in the trucks. I could smell alcohol on his breath and his speech was slurred. He then took my picture without consent, and asked me where my hotel key is? I told him I literally just arrived, and I called ahead to notify the hotel I would be late. He then was telling me I can't be here, and only after a hotel staff member heard the commotion that she confirmed my story. The supervisor in the white truck. Never apologized and never deleted my picture from his phone. Ontop of this it all happened on my Birthday. Thank-You McKenna Borthers Paving. I'm sure this review won't get answered or addressed, but to everyone thinking of using McKenna Paving you deserve better!
