Great work by Medusa! We have a small concrete porch and steps. They had been painted in the past. The paint was peeling, the risers were deteriorating in a few spots, and there were some cracks. Medusa was able to repair the damaged area and make the steps look like new. The workers were neat and respectful. They were clearly committed to doing a good job and they made sure we were happy with the end product. At the end of the day, the porch and steps look great and I didn’t have to rip out and replace the whole thing! I would definitely recommend them!

Long story short… Jim is your guy. Go with Medusa. // Haddon Heights NJ // 24 July 2025 I was debating concrete or asphalt and I got 3 asphalt quotes and 6 concrete quotes in Haddon Heights, NJ and surrounding towns (Collingswood, Haddonfield, Audubon, etc.). Jim (Medusa Concrete) was the third quote I got and it was clear he was a top contender. My decision was… do I go with the cheaper guy (lackluster quote/knowledge) or the expensive guy (like ridiculously expensive)…. Jim fell into a separate bucket: his knowledge, attention to detail, and attitude were far superior to any other company or person I spoke/visited with, and his price was absolutely fair (right on par with most of my concrete quotes). Jim maintained his stature from the first quote to the final walk around. His BIGGEST priority was to make the job look good and make sure the buyer understood each step of the process. He takes his time!! Every one else was in a rush to get out of there. I spent so much time with Jim I built trust because he was able to explain every last detail. He also takes his time on the job. I asked all the companies how long. They ranged, but most said 1-2 days “we will be right in and out”. That is not what I wanted to hear. Jim said the project needs to be at least 3 days. He took four days and its that extra time that allows each aspect of the job to reflect his effort. On job day 1, he brought his team. He’s got the best of the best in the field. They are highly skilled in screting (Jim explained when they take the board back and fourth to get the rocks down for a creamy finish), making joints, expansion, contraction, etc - he explained the whole bit to me and told me how when they do X it lowers the chance of Y (cracking, Spaulding, etc). AND JIM WAS ON THE JOB EVERY DAY. One day I couldn’t be there and he took videos for me and filled me in on the project. Jim uses 4500psi, ahead of the standard of every other quote offering at most 4000psi, some even at 3500. Jim

Extremely happy with Medusa. Jim has came out for multiple occasions for my fiance and I… our garage concrete slab and recently did our driveway. He explained everything thoroughly what he was doing and updated us every step of the way. His prices seemed to beat anyone around and also does the best work. Had some surprise big tree roots in the way but he was still able to come in at the contracted price which we really appreciated. The price was very affordable and fair, and Jim broke down exactly what we were paying for by section of the patio. Jim and the crew removed old concrete and installed our new patio.
