Mezzacappa Concrete Contractors

I don't usually leave reviews, but Mezzacappa Concrete did such a good job that I wanted to. From the first phone call, everyone was friendly and professional. Shane came by, explained everything, answered my questions, and gave me a quote right away. I had already looked into the company beforehand and liked that they've been in business for over 40 years. One of my neighbors had also recommended them. The quote included everything, from removing the old concrete and extra dirt to the new concrete, drains, materials, and sealer. Another company I talked to wanted to pour new concrete over some of the existing concrete, and I wasn't comfortable with that. Mezzacappa removed everything and started fresh, which made a lot more sense to me. The day of the job, the crew showed up on time and got right to work. They told me they would finish everything in one day. I honestly didn't believe it, but they did. Even my neighbors were surprised by how much they got done. Everyone knew exactly what they were doing, and the whole job ran really smoothly. They also kept me updated throughout the day, which I appreciated. One thing that really surprised me was finding out they were the same company that did the concrete in front of my house about eight years ago, before we bought it. It still looks great today, so that made me feel even better about choosing them. I'm really happy with how everything turned out and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Originally, I planned on doing a 12 x 12 concrete pad for a spa. Upon talking with Shane he gave me various options. And so I went with a 14 x 30 cement patio. The crew showed up on time and immediately went to work, not much talking just work. Everybody seemed to know what they were doing and got it done efficiently. I also had them redo my cement steps. I’m so glad I did. I could not be happier. The top of my stairs is so beautiful that I don’t even wanna put a mat on it. I can’t figure out how to put pictures on here. I wish that I could because it’s absolutely gorgeous, if concrete could be gorgeous. A big thank you to Shane for helping me reimagine my backyard.

My wife and I wanted to transform our backyard…the first and only company we called was Mezzacappa Concrete. They are by far the #1 Concrete company in NY & NJ. We lived in Staten Island and used them back in 2020 to concrete our tiny backyard, but since then we moved to Matawan NJ and we knew exactly who to call. Shane came, gave us an estimate on the spot, we shook hands and that was that. They started around a month later and in 5 days they gave us the backyard of our dreams. They treated our house and yard like it was their own. Cleaned up everything and even gave us a couple shirts. Shout out to Uncle Vinny, Vincenzo and all the hard working boys from Mezzacappa - King of the Concrete Jungle!! Call them you won’t be disappointed.

I couldn't be happier with the work Mezzacappa Concrete did on my back patio. From start to finish, Shane, Jeff, and Ray were professional, hardworking, and attentive to every detail. They took the time to answer my questions, kept the project moving smoothly, and delivered outstanding craftsmanship. The finished patio looks amazing and has completely transformed my backyard. The quality of the concrete work is top-notch, and it's clear they take pride in what they do. The crew was reliable, respectful of my property, and left everything clean when the job was completed. If you're looking for a concrete company that delivers excellent results and outstanding customer service, I highly recommend Mezzacappa Concrete. Thanks again to Shane, Jeff, and Ray for a job well done!

I chose Mezzacappa because my parents used them a long time ago and the sidewalk is still in great shape. Shane was very professional and so is his Team. I am very pleased with the job that they provided. I will recommend it anytime to anyone
